Dr. Robert Davidson, MD

Doctor Davidson is an excellent doctor. He cares and explains the surgery in full detail. He gave me back my eyesight. I believe with today technology and training he is a miracle worker.

He is one of the few doctors that I would highly recommend. The entire staff seems to truly care about each individual and makes you very comfortable. Sometimes there is a wait to get from the waiting room to the exam room because he is so popular, he is busy. From the beginning, I felt he cared about me as a person, never rushed the exam while thoroughly explaining step by step everything and answered all my questions. I had radial keratotomy, so I knew that cataract removal would be more difficult and he put me at ease. My sister was my designated driver and attended my appointments. She was so impressed by Dr. Davidson, she has an appointment. I am extremely satisfied with my experience due to Dr. Davidson and staff.

Dr Davidson and staff have been wonderful to work with the past couple years. He is clinically astute, follows clinical practice guidelines and evidence based medicine. He is kind and reassuring. I would recommend him to anyone. His office is well run and a pleasure to visit for excellent eye care.

I was so glad to find an ophthalmologist with such a warm personality and thorough going examination technique, who did not push for unnecessary surgery, as some of my other practitioners have done. I plan to keep Dr. Davidson as my eye doctor despite the extra mileage to his office, and I will heartily recommend him and his pleasant caring staff to my family and friends.

I have been seeing Dr. Davidson for many years and he always performs thorough exams, is not rushed and takes the time to explain the problem and answer all my question. He is very knowledgeable in his field. His staff is also very efficient, friendly and helpful both in the office and on the phone. He's an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him.

I was an emergency visit. I had never been to Dr Davidson before. I had corneal abrasions. I was seen in an hour, he treated the issue. Never did he try to "upgrade" the reason I was there. i.e. he never recommended an total eye exam , he took care of my emergency. He has been fantastic, with follow up visits to check on the abrasions. The medication he ordered was very expensive at my local pharmacy. His staff recommended a nearby pharmacy that had the medication had a greatly reduced price. The doctor, and the entire staff have been fantastic.

At thirty-eight the last thing I expected to need was cataract surgery, but I learned that it is rare for someone my age, but sometimes it does happen. My vision had been getting worse over the past few years and it was effecting my work performance. Something needed to be done. Dr. Davidson saved my life. He is both, a very skilled surgeon and pleasant to talk to. He listens attentively to his patients with a kind and caring manner. I highly recommend Dr. Davidson for cataract surgery.

I required cataract surgery and implantation of new lens. Problem is I have keratoconus and astigmatism and have worn RGP lenses since I was 14 yrs old. Dr. Davidson was able to get a correction on a new lens that restored excellent visual acuity where pretty much none existed before surgery. Amazing!

Dr. Davidson has provided exceptional service to both my wife and me for a number of years. He does not rush through the exam and takes the time to answer questions. His staff if efficient and friendly. All in all, I would, and have, highly recommend him for your eye care.

Dr. Davidson performed surgery on my Mother, correcting her narrow angle glaucoma. I am grateful for his expertise in diagnosing and correcting this unusual problem and for his kindness and patience with my Mother’s anxiety and dementia. The surgery went beautifully.

I recently saw Dr. Davidson for a complete comprehensive eye exam. Their office practices the old fashioned way with many kind and caring touches. I was personally called two days prior to my appointment date. The doctor's wife made sure that I knew where they were located and how to download their new patient forms. She told me that they were looking forward to meeting me. Their office is beautifully decorated with plenty of comfortable seating options. I found the staff to be warm and friendly. Dr. Davidson was gracious, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my multitude of questions. I felt genuinely cared about. A few days after my appointment I received a handwritten Thank You card from their office. I didn't realize that medical practices like this still exist. It's no wonder they've been in practice for over 23 years! I would highly recommend Dr. Davidson to anyone needing to see an Ophthalmologist.

Took the day off to see this Doctor for no reason. Confirmed they took my insurance when I made the appointment just to learn today that they in fact do not! They wanted me to pay $200! I will not be making another appointment here. My schedule is so tight that now I cannot get in to see an Ophthalmologist until June! Do not go here. Go somewhere else.

I LOVED this guy. He answered every question I had. And he discovered my macular degeneration! I had been to a retina specialist two months before who never even checked me. I saw the retina guy for vitreal gel displacement. With my age, you would have thought he would have looked for it. Thank goodness for Dr. Davidson!

If there was a zero rating I would chose it. Dr. Davidson keeps you waiting for over an hour past your appointment time. When you see him it is for a short time and he doesn't like to be asked questions. He had me coming back for months. I could hardly see and knew I had a cataract. He said he would keep a watch on it and come back again. This went on for almost a year. I found him to be uncertain of himself and somewhat arrogant. Went to another Doc who said I needed surgery now in both eyes

An outstanding doctor with friendly staff. He performed cataract surgery for me, and I am so pleased with the results. He actively listened to my questions and addressed any concern I had. My trust in him was well founded.
