Dr. Robert Cohen, MD

Dr. Cohen is a great doctor, he listens to your concerns and is also lovely to speak with at my appointments. It is rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient, as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend him.

I was outraged by the unrealistic “outta sight , outta mind” ( aug/22) review of Dr.Cohen. My family and I have been and still are patients of Dr.Cohen. Dr.Cohen is a attentive, patient,caring, moral, humane physician. The noted review is obviously from someone who has unrealistic expectations. It is not best practice for an MD to give advice without seeing a patient. The correct way, the moral and ethical way is exactly what Dr.Cohen did, advising the patient to see an MD in PERSON for a proper diagnoses. We highly recommend Dr.Cohen he is a gifted physician. He has ALWAYS taken care of us , even when we don’t have appointments…. He has us come in to treat us or calm us. Beyond grateful for his care!

So here's the thing.. we were with the practice for many years while living in Rockland County. Dr. Cohen is an excellent diagnostician and dermatologist. Now wer live out of state. My wife developed a facial condition, and I called the office to see of we could teleconference... he could look at her face and give an opinion. They said he does not do teleconferencing. Then I inquired if he would look at a picture to give an opinion. That evidently didn't fly either. I'm really disappointed that he would turn his back on former patients. Just not moral/ethical/humane,, in my opinion

Dr Cohen really cares about his patients and their family.He is a great person and doctor.He takes the time to explain your treatment.He has been my doctor for over 25 years.

I have been going to see Dr Cohen twice a year for the last 10 years for checkups. Im in my 60's, Irish, fair skin, blue eyes (all the traits for skin cancer). I first want to say that you will not meet a nicer guy than Dr. Cohen. He is always friendly and he does an extensive examination and you leave there feeling good knowing that he is on top of everything. The other thing that I appreciate is that he honors your time. I am in his Office within 5-10 minutes of my appointment every time.

The experience has been troubling and quite frustrating. No patient should ever endure what Dr. Cohen and his staff puts them through. Firstly, Dr. Cohen's communication skills are not the greatest, speaks in a condescending way. It seems as he is always in a rush and does not take the time to properly address issues. Secondly, had a biopsy performed by him and, I was told I would receive results in two weeks, long behold it has been a whole month! I call everyday still no results.

Dr. Cohen was recommended to me by a friend because of his professionalism, knowledge and attentiveness. During my visit I found that and more. He listened intently, considered my overall health and sense of well-being, and made his diagnosis with compassion and clarity. I am closely following his treatment plan which has helped me and would definitely highly recommend Dr. Cohen to others.

I travel from NYC to Orangeburg NY just to see Dr. Cohen. His bedside manner and his willingness to sit and discuss your particular situation is both comforting and reassuring. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and has the ability to spot things that should not be there, regardless of how small they are. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Cohen.

Dr. Cohen has been my doctor for several years now. He has always been very attentive and thorough I have always felt that he truly cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!
