Dr. Robert Burnstein, MD

Dr Burnstein has been awesome. I really only see him for medication updates and refiling of meds the beginning he saw me for addiction to narcotics. He set me straight and help me deal with this issue. He never pushed me or told me to stop he was aware of my medical issues, and we dealt with addiction and medical issues without lectures. I got to a place where if i needed medication for pain I took it without all the drama. I learned how to use them as needed which stop the cycle of abuse, and to get threw day to day.

I was a patient of Dr. Burnstein who had to take a break from visits due to the fact a difficult pregnancy had me bed ridden. i let his staff know what was going on. I had a terrible depressive period due to having Hyperemesis and losing 30lbs. I made my way back to the practice after a hospitalization. Not only did his staff accuse me of trying to get more Xanax (I wasn't and wanted to change) they were incredibly rude. I go into the see the doctor-he demands I apologize to him for getting pregnant. I'm a married woman who had a condom break. He had to go through my history like he had never talked to me before. This man berated a pregnant suicidal woman. He's dangerous and if I didn't have the support of my spouse, I could have killed myself behind the way he spoke to me in his office. He has zero care beside manner and is careless. Please choose anyone else but this man. A ficus would be a better option.

If you need a psychiatrist you would be best advised to look elsewhere he’s rude disrespectful. I went there for help and I was told he would never treat me I was told he does not even want to converse eight with me I was asked to get out of his office very rudely and to never come back again this psychiatrist needs a psychiatrist for his self and I would not recommend for him to treat” dog.

Dr. Burnstein has worked with me to get my meds straightened out and as my situation has changed he continued to be patient and understanding while working with me to get better.

I was very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail along with the lack of compassion for his patients. He also lacks the clinical ability to help people.

I have never felt less important to a doctor than I did when I went to Dr. Burnstein's office. He does not listen to the patient, he has already made up his mind. He only ever saw me for 5 minutes and I left his office feeling terrible and cried on more than one occasion. He yelled at me for having my therapist write a letter to him to explain my circumstances in more detail. The office staff are rude, unshowered, and always wearing sloppy sweatpants. Terrible experience all around.

Treats mental disorders effectively

Record your phone call the intake lady lied about our apt I wrote notes n even put in my cal she put us down for a friday which I'm never in town on a friday so I would never sch apt then they hit us with a 90 no show fee mind u our 1st time seeing them they were rude said unjust pay the fee I'm going to report them n to blue cross. Oh when I asked to speak to the manager she hung up on me. Will never go here.

Excellent Doctor

If you're just looking for medication, he's fine but not much compassion.

He is very thorough. He can be blunt, which I appreciate. We work on the issues together. He explains things very clearly. My sister saw him, and hated him, but she can be a real b!tch. She was probably told what she needed to hear, but wasn't willing to listen.

I had a great initial visit with Dr. Burnstein. He asked very direct questions and got right to the main issue at the time, which was sleeping. Once that was better (which it is now), he monitored my medications for depression/anxiety (I was in the hospital in December of 2015 for depression and given meds). He is a very considerate, conscientious Psychiatrist. He makes eye contact and asks in-depth questions. Les
