Dr. Brockman was my husband’s surgeon. He explained everything precisely and took all the time needed to answer all our questions. He is competent, trustworthy, reassuring. and patient/family oriented. Dr. Brockman earned our highest recommendation.

Dr Brockman severed my nerve during surgery
DO NOT have Dr Brockman perform surgery on you at any expense. He removed 2 lipomas from my left arm and severed my ante brachial cutaneous nerve. Day 1 post op I called his office to complain of itching and redness around wound plus no feeling in arm. Dr Brockman told me to take Benadryl. Went to ER and was diagnosed with cellutis. 2nd post op visit i again said to him I had no feeling in my arm. He left exam room and came back with a green push pin, he dropped on the floor and proceeded to try to stick in my arm. Brockman never referred me to a neurologist or even tried to find out why I was suffering from paralysis of my left arm and when asked if I would get feeling back he said “ you signed a surgical consent”. He didn’t care that he severed a nerve during surgery and nor did Coastal Carolina Hospital. DO NOT go to Brockman and stay away from Coastal Carolina/Hilton Head Hospital is my best advice. Go to Beaufort Memorial or Savannah, our health and welfare is #1
