Nightmare
Dr. Bolster is an old guy, very opinionated with his politics, worldly events, and cracks crass jokes. If you can deal with that, then you’ll be fine. He is really good at documenting everything in the computer and great at listening and making referrals. Whether the staff get the referrals out accordingly is another story. I have received the SAME referrals because the initial ones were never handled right. Mrs. Bolster is the office manager/wife there so she is a part of the group. They are always receiving denials because more explanation is needed by insurance. They either don’t respond or do after the deadline so the claim is DENIED. This happens ALL THE TIME. Mrs. Bolster is verrry rude. If you question what is going on she will give you a cold shoulder and will not accept responsibility. She talks over you all the time and might be intimidating to some. No one has time for the unnecessary behavior. SHAMEFUL.

Don’t Recommend
Dr. Bolster is a rude and an arrogant doctor. His PA(his daughter Sylvia) isn’t much better. This practice is a joke and I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

After several years as a patient, I finally decided that his shortcomings far exceeded his medical benefits to me. He has medical experience, but he is arrogant and has become very disorganized and forgetful, to the point that it affects his practice and his patients. It also affects his office staff and operation. Lab orders do not get placed when needed, appointments get confused and prescriptions fail to be ordered when needed. In addition, he does not hesitate to voice his political opinions for all staff, patients and visitors to hear. I have seen the operation deteriorate and regretted leaving his great staff.

Awful experience. Being my first appointment, I met with the PA, Sylvia. I went in for a specific reason and all she could focus on was my weight. She had a crude, hateful approach and made me feel awful about myself. I did not return. My single encounter with Dr. Bolster was walking into the office and he also did not see that cheerful of a man. If you are going to be in the business of patient care, you should work on being a little more personable and less rude.

Dr Bolster has been my primary doctor for over 19 years. He is an excellent doctor and takes his time with each patient. His staff is very friendly and always call to remind me the day before an appointment.

My parents went to him and he was horrible. They would sit for hours just for him to peak his head in. He did not care for their health and was there to just BS. It took the nurse 5 times to get him to come to the patient's room and then he peaked his head in and said to take my mother to the ER (which was 2 blocks away). Horrible bed side manners, horrible communication, wait time was terrible and he needs to retire.

Dr. Bolster and his staff are all are polite and knowledgeable. He has been my primary care physician for 20 years now and has always provided the absolute best care, and I believe, best advice and treatment during every visit and for every issue. If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very efficient office, then Dr. Bolster is someone you should consider visiting.

Dr. Bolster is an excellent doctor. He takes quality time with each of his patients. The downside is that you wait about 2+ hours to be taken into the office, but once he comes to your room, he visits with you and addresses your concerns.

This man is definitely senile and should leave medical practice before he injures or killed kills someone. He makes you wait 4 hours and over prescribes medication. He is almost 70 and should retire

Dr.Bolster takes time with you and he does explain things to you. He does not rush you through like a lot of doctors do. You can ask questions and he will take time to help you. His staff is friendly and well trained. I enjoy watching a video in his waiting room before my appointment. I would not go to any other doctor. We love Dr.Bolster.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend him to anybody. I always wait two to three hours to be seen, even with a morning appointment. He invests zero interest in my care. He and his staff are not professionals.
