Dr. Blais is a Great Surgeon
Dr. Blais is a great surgeon. I had a total shoulder replacement, April 22, 2024, and have recovered completely. Dr. Blais is very professional, always gives me the opportunity to ask questions.

Easy next day appointment, great staff, Dr Blaze was awesome as always. Explained what was causing my pain and told me my options for treating it. I'm happy to be a returning patient and will be in the future whenever the need arises!

Thorough and efficient
Dr. Blais was extremely kind and calm with my daughter. He asked a lot of questions and we felt he was really listening. He ran through several tests and explained what we were seeing on our xrays. When we left the appointment, we felt all our questions were answered and we had a plan for things to go well and what to do if my daughter’s injury needed more attention. Dr. Blais was very professional and was good at explaining what was going on.

sweet talk and money oriented. was rude as well.
went for knee pain. things seemed to go fine until about the time we refused some of the expensive treatment options. then rude behavior to just end the conversation and kick us out the door. bill was fat.

Not a good fit
Since my condition did not require surgery, I was out of there in 5 minutes. He made sure to credit himself with making sure to ask all proper questions, without listening to my responses. I received notes regarding my visit and I see that he will meet his meaningful use quota but as far as concern for me, he didn’t really have the time to bother with me. I’m suppose to return in 2 weeks. I’m sure I will cancel and find another provider. Such a brilliant fella, but lacks on patient concerns or patient education. If you’re interested in a quick fix without interaction or explanation on what is happening to your body then this guy is for you. If you want to be engaged in learning how your body works - not the guy for you. Just not a good fit for me. I prefer being a part of my treatment rather than just getting rushed thru.

Get them in and out
This dr. couldn't have been more worried about spending as little time with his patients and hitting his patient quota for the day. He saw me for about 15 min including notes, reviewing my MRI and an exam , and the person before me 10 min. I went to a UT specialist who said I had specific issues, this guy didn't even address them and passed me off to pain mgmt. Run!!! He's terrible.

Refused to take my sons injury serious. Refused to do an MRI after several requests and pain not getting any better. Had to take him to another doctor to get an MRI and come to find out he has a torn muscle, just as expected. Wasted our time to get the appropriate treatment and my money. Go elsewhere!

Loved loved Dr. Blais and his staff. They were extremely professional, thorough and very informative the whole time during the course of the appointment. Dr. Blais is extremely personable and listens to your concerns. Dr. Blais also makes you feel at ease especially getting a cortisone shot which is painful but bearable. Definitely a great asset to the practice and our community.

Dr Blais listened carefully to my story, asked a few questions, & then decided to give cortisone injections. He is an orthopedic surgeon, but does not jump straight to surgery. The injections have helped enormously.
