I did not get a chance to see Dr. Baylis. I called and confirmed that they accepted my insurance and was put on his schedule for the next week. I received many text messages, voicemails and texts confirming my appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 10:45 but was told to be there at 10:15. I had all of my paperwork complete and signed in at 10:15. Then I was told to go back with the office manager in a back room where he closed the door to let me know that they did not accept my insurance! They never even bothered to call me and let me know. Instead, I took time off work and drove the 30 minutes to their office. I can't begin to tell you how angry I was. I kept my composure and left. Waiting a week to get to see him was acceptable but the unprofessional office staff was not. Big disappointment. Now I have to start over looking or an Orthapedic Dr.

an unconcerned doctor
i was sent to dr. baylis by sedgwick due to an injury at work. he didn’t appear to be concerned about my injury or my entire well being. his main focus was ensuring i would return to work as quickly as possible. he is a contracted doctor with sedgwick/worker’s comp, therefore his main focus is processing patients as quickly as possible, so he can collect his $$$$$$$ from sedgwick. if you are sent to him by sedgwick or any other worker’s comp affiliate, please request a second opinion.

Cream of the crop
I've had many, many surgeries on almost every joint on my body. All my surgeons were good. None as good as Dr. Baylis. He takes time to explain what the procedure is. Answers your questions and goes above and beyond what a surgeon would do. And he is my surgeon for a workman's comp injury to boot.

Fantastic, Dr. Baylis explained the arthritis in my knee and he provided me with a cortisone injection which completely took the pain away. Great Dr. which I will definitely see again if and when needed. Thank you. Enrique.

Had a wayward 2.5cm piece of soft tissue in my right knee. Dr Baylis took a look at my MRIs and X-rays and explained the worst and best case scenarios very simply for me. While I hope I don’t need another surgery, I’ll go back to Baylis in a heartbeat. Got me scheduled for surgery quickly and easily. His staff was friendly and fun to speak with. I highly recommend Dr Baylis.

Do not go here if you are under workman’s comp. He follows what the comp wants to pay for. I asked him for a spinal epidural which had been successful in the past after I had an acute injury in the same area I had a bulge 6 years prior on the job. He actually offered me more narcotic medicine when I begged him to order a MRI. Beware of this office.

Dr Baylis works based on the wishes of workman comp. He received my MRI and agreed with the results. Gave me a shot and prescribed medicine for the pain. When he submits his findings to your workers comp agent if they don't like his findings he changes them. All of a sudden he doesn't agree with the MRI anymore, he changes your paperwork to satisfy the insurance company SEGWICK which I am sure are threatening to take away the patients they assign to him. I am upset to know that the patience are

Despite having all paperwork completed ahead of time and having an appointment, I was made to wait two and a half hours. Then the Dr. spent about 5 minutes with me. I would never go back to see him again.

Dr. Baylis is extraordinary in his experience, manner, competence and his genuine caring for his patients. He has taken care of my knees for 17 yrs., advised me wisely, encouraged my recoveries. His staff is superior, as well. I trust his judgement and referrals. I have referred people to him on numerous occasions with positive feedback in all cases.

This Dr. is only interested in to his Tom Ford suits are straight, his Versace eyeglasses shiny and his Aldo shoes sharp. About your back???? not really. Oh! and the bill for 2 minutes he touched you be sure is over a $1000.00 or more. :-( I visit him 2 times, just because I thought the first time he was distracted, but NOT, the second time was the same.

I went to Dr. Baylis's office today. I waited 3, yes 3 hours and was NEVER seen by the doctor. After asking several times if the doctor would be coming in soon and then being told, "you are next" too many times, I finally left. Unless there is an emergency, which there was not, I asked, a patient should never have to wait that long. Never once did anyone come in to check on me.

All of the staff was so friendly and capable and every time you looked at someone they had a sincere smile for you. My praise is endless for Dr Baylis. He was the warmest, most knowledgeable Doctor I've seen in a long, long time. In fact, I think the best doctor in my life. He treated my mother who had fallen with the most tender kindness I have seen. He knew exactly what to do and answered every question I could possibly have and listened to every word we said. i can't say enough this man!
