My PCP and radiologist referred me to an ENP, and Dr. Baumgartner was close by and had openings that worked with my schedule. After meeting him, though, I would not return to Dr. Baumgartner or recommend him to friends and family. Throughout my visit he used language and behaviors that made me feel dismissed and disrespected. He referred to me as “upset,” although my affect was calm and pleasant. When I asked questions, he waved them away. This made me feel that my concerns were not of interest to him. I did not feel like an active participant in my own care, which was very isolating and upsetting.

The nearest opening was three weeks wait. . There is no free parking and it is $5 for the first hour. The front desk employee was professional. The nurse who helped me to get in was rude. Finally I met with the doctor. He gave me good advise and he does talk a lot and thinks out loud. He refilled me to another specialist and he called the other clink by himself to schedule. I appreciated that. I had to communicate with the rude nurse to find out my appointment which was annoying.

I wouldnt recommend coming to this Dr due to 1.Him overtalking whenever i tell him something, anything 2.He either ignores whatever you tell him or he only listens to what he wants to hear. 3.The waiting time was unbearable at times i waited almost 2 hours at one time which shouldn't happened esp if i made an appt. 4. Appt times are barely available be expected to wait weeks Other then that the staff were semi friendly.

I feel VERY comfortable with Dr. Baumgarnter. He's been treating my 2.5-yr-old son for fluid in his ears since he was 1 yr. We did tubes and all. I love the receptionist there. Though the PAs seem less enthusiastic, they're still very professional. Dr. B. has always taken the time to listen to me, answer and explain anything I ask, and makes sure that my son is getting the best treatment possible at all times.

While Dr. Baumgartner was located in downtown Silver Spring, I was one of his patients' seen. He treated me with the uttermost respect, caring and kindness, so was his staff. I would go to his office, not able to purchase the nose sprays for instance, he would go the extra miles to give me few samples, just to keep me afloat. At one time, I had an emergency in which I had to go to the emergency room at Holy Cross Hospital due to a reaction from a medication, upon being released he refused to cha
