Horrible! Never Again!
I just saw Dr. Kempner for a follow-up at the hospital to discuss my mammogram results. She was extremely dismissive, rude, & condescending. That is not how a new patient should be treated.

Currently a patient of Dr. Kempner - VERY Thorough
I was referred by my surgeon at Cleveland Clinic to Dr. Kempner for follow-up / preventative care. I've seen her 2x in the past year. She has not rushed me - has been VERY thorough. Given me risk assessments, recommendations to reduce risk, done physical exams, ordered additional tests/screening, etc. etc. Agree that she is brusque (not rude, just succinct) -- but bluntly -- I'm not going to her so she can be my friend...I'm going to her to ensure I don't have to deal with cancer moving forward. Definitely recommend -- A++

Past interactions have stayed with me
I saw her several years ago. I hope she's changed since. I was spoken to in a dismissive manner, as if I were an annoyance. I was left hanging after reaching out to her office post-surgery with a complication she'd foreseen as a possibility but hadn't mentioned (she casually shared this at my followup visit after a harrowing, expensive & ultimately unnecessary visit to the hospital for said complications she could have prevented). I was left with breast scarring post lumpectomy that doctors since have been surprised by, as it could have been easily hidden. A few years later I had the same procedure with another surgeon & it was like a dream, with a near invisible scar almost a third of the size of the one she left. I hadn't realized she was still practicing but when I saw her name here & saw that another person had a similar experience with her manner it felt important to share my experience. I hope she'll acknowledge her past behavior and treat people better in the future.

She is abrupt, impatient and demeaning. Truly the worst doctor or surgeon I have ever seen. It has been a dozen years and I still loathe her. Not surprised she's stuck in Jersey and can't cross the bridge anymore. Her bedside manner was non-existent. I had no reason to dislike her. she was recommended by a doctor I really liked. I don't care if she was having a bad day. She was nasty, insulting and all around terrible.
