Highly recommended doctor!!!
Visited Dr Ritu Anand at her Edison location for the first time for our Mother who is suffering from the highs and the lows of blood sugar levels. The whole process of making an appointment was a breeze, the staff was super polite, helpful and provided multiple dates times that worked our schedule. The moment we got to the office we were greeted by Julio who is so sweet and helpful getting her checked in. We met the doctor as soon as my Mom was checked in with no wait time. Dr. Anand is one of the best doctors we have come across in a long time. Dr. Anand has extremely good beside manners, as she spent so much time with us understanding my Mom’s history and asking as many questions to understand her health, her medications, family history and more. She did not leave in a hurry as she spent time listening to my Mom’s issues and provided guidance on how to best manager her blood sugar levels. We highly recommend Dr Ritu Anand as she is a gem of a doctor.

Review for entire practice
I saw Dr. Malik and the NP in her practice, Dr. Force. This review for the Drs and staff combined. I do not have many complains about Dr. Malik: she explicitly told that she has never seen such situation and does not know what to do with me. She also seems to have the best manners in the entire practice. Dr. Forse, on the other had, was strongly opinionated, failed to provide explanations to her prescription (I asked) and was irritated by my questions. Also gave me facts that, while true, are not applicable to my situation (when I pointed it out, she agreed). The admin staff is a hit or miss. Some just hang the phone in the middle of the call. Not in a rude manner or not during an argument, just they answered my question and without saying 'bye' hang up. I had more questions, had to re-dial. It happened several times. I also find that they overcharge. 15 min phone call with a NP costed me 2.5 times more than a visit with a head doctor in a different practice (the same insurance).

Sue
She stuck out as one of the worst doctors I have ever come across. Her manner and diagnosis were lacking greatly. Complete waste of my time but she got paid. She should have paid me for wasting my time.

Dr. Malik is a kind, understanding doctor. She listens to you and does not rush you. When I told a friend I had gone to an endocrinologist she stopped me before I finished my sentence and said, “No I have a better one, Dr. Malik in Little Silver. “ Highly recommended!

Dr Malik was able to get my diabetes under control. Recommended a dietitian who was excellent. She always is on time and takes the time to explain everything with details. Couldn’t be more happier.

Dr Malik is a horrible Endo who should have her license taken away! I left her practice after 1 yr & switched to a Doc at MSK in NY, who asked "Why did you get so many unnecessary testing, ultrasounds, biopsies and bloodwork done?" Dr Malik failed to know even the BASICS when it came to thyroid disease and was unable to correctly interpret the results of the testing (including bloodwork) she ordered! WHAT!!! Stay far away from this DR.

If you are a thyroid cancer patient DO NOT GO TO THIS DR!! She is not up-to-date with the follow up protocol, will send you for unnecessary RAI testing, refer you to another Endo because she doesn't understand results & doesn't call patients back. She WILL NOT discuss your blood work results on the phone or adjust meds w/o an office appt. Portal is for concierge patients only & communication w/ office is impossible. Practice deals mainly w/weight mgmt. & diabetes. Staff is unprofessional & rude.

excellent doctor. listens and understands issues. very pro active. another Dr had sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound before biopsy, Dr Malik did the ultrasound and biopsy in her facility, eliminating the need to go from place to place. She saw something in blood work that was not part of her expertise and took immediate action to make sure that my husband got prompt treatment by the right physician. outstanding office staff, easy to get appointments, very short wait to see the dr
