I had severe preeclampsia and my son and I almost died. Diagnosed myself through a blood pressure cuff in a K-mart and the fact that I peed once a day in my third trimester, ended up with an emergency induction when my BP reached pre-seizure/stroke levels. She tried to convince me to deliver at a hospital closer to her home with no NICU, for HER convenience, instead of the hospital I preferred with a NICU. My baby was whisked away to the NICU after he was born because he couldn't breathe on his own. He may have died had I listened to her. Thank God that I didn't. My hyperemesis gravidarum and preeclampsia were written off and not taken seriously, none of my concerns were. I would wait for an average of 45 minutes for every appointment. She is very friendly, but that is not enough to make up for lack of medical attention. I would really recommend finding another doctor for the safety of you and your baby. Make sure to advocate for yourself and if something feels off, listen to it.

I did not even see the doctor. They scheduled me at the Ann atbor office on a day no one was there ( they work at the canton office on Thursday's). I took off work drove 2 hours, I live in Adrian and had to take my children to the babysitter, just to be told by nicole the "office manger" "what do you want me to do about it, i can reschedule you". I would not recommend this office at all if they cant even schedule you correctly I can't imagine how the patient care is.

While you might have to wait a little longer in the waiting room, it is because she takes the time to listen to you to help figure out what is the root cause of an issue.

This is the worst doctor I've ever had cancelled appointments 10 minutes before you're there wait time is 3 hours every time forgets to send critical paperwork at the hospital where I almost died as a result forgets to write prescriptions office staff is completely incompetent and unprofessional avoid this doctor at all costs!!!

Dr. Eckenrode is a amazing doctor her and her staff always are so helpful and willing to go above and beyond for their patients i would highly recommend her. she delivered both of my children and i would never go anywhere else.

The staff was unprofessional. Went in the office for my appointment. after giving my insurance card the card was not returned to me without asking for the card back,then after my appointment at checking out the next problems were the following,I was told to get lab work done after my appointment,the person checking me out had to be reminded that I needed a paper for lab work,I wanted to schedule an appointment for next year physical.the staff didn't send my prescription to the right pharmacy.
