Dr. Rishi Anand, MD

Dr Anand is amazing. He knows his stuff!Anand was referred to me by my best friend who said such. And Scott was right. Dr. Anand actually spent a half hour with me and did his best to put me at ease. He is both technical and makes layman speak. He told me he is an “electrician” and specializes in coronary electrical, but I needed a plumber. But, he had a guy!Referred to his partner up a floor at Holy Cross in Ft Lauderdale. I have my appoint for a “plumbing” assessment tomorrow, only a couple days after my meeting with Dr. Anand. Looking forward to Anand being my cardiologist. A most important physician A ten-star rating in the five-star scale.

My primary cardiologist referred me to Dr. Anand for review and treatment of AFIB. Dr. Anand's personality was friendly and he seemed approachable. At the same time he called me out on my smoking. After many years of having cardiac issues, Dr. Anand was the first person to explain to me what was actually going on. He explained the blockages, and he was the first person to tell me in my nearly 60 years that I have an abnormal heart configuration where my circumflex artery which is supposed to come off the left coronary artery and wrap around the back of the heart to supply blood there was actually coming off of my right coronary artery instead. Doctor Anand's explanation of everything was a true eye-opener. Dr. Anand suggested and I agreed to have the Watchman device implanted to prevent possible clots causing a stroke or other issues. His explanation of everything also got me to quit smoking. Very thankful for his caring yet no BS approach.

This was my first visit to a cardiologist, when I was told I had Afib. Dr. Arnand was compassionate and very capable. Understanding of my anxiety.

I have been a patient for Dr. Anand for almost a year. He has performed two procedures on me for afib. When visiting the doctor's office I find the staff to be friendly, kind, eager and helpful. It is always a pleasant experience. The wait time in the office is always short and my first interaction is with the nurse who performs an electrocardiogram. Again, she is always pleasant and helpful. My time with Dr. Anand is spent reviewing my case and the progress I have made. I find what he says to be helpful in taking my health to the next level. He is informative, professional and well educated. I would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their health and seeking a doctor who can make a difference in their well being.

Great No problems

I'm not exactly sure why Dr. Anand has high reviews because my experience was not good at all. First, as soon as you walk in you are required to pay for the appt before even seeing the doctor. I've never paid for a service before even receiving it not even in healthcare. Second, I noticed as I was sitting in the waiting room, every patient about 4-5 people before me left with being told that a follow-up call would be done in regard to their planned procedure. Everyone in the office required a procedure? Very odd. Once I was walked to the office chair, Dr. Anand came bursting in (in a rush I suppose) and barely let me state my list of symptoms or medications I had tried to alleviate my chronic allergy issues before he pushed an invasive procedure on me that only had a success rate of about 40% and would have to be re-done every 2-3 years. So I ended up "needing" a procedure as well (I declined). Sounds like a money grab to me and I rather be looked as a patient not a dollar sign.

I have many visits with Dr. Anand during the last ten years including a successful ablation procedure. He is professional, responsive, personable, easy to work with and extremely well qualified. I highly recommend him as an electrophysiologist. He is indispensable to me and I am sure many others

Dr. Anand the cardiology group are among the best in Ft. Lauderdale. They are caring and knowledgeable and easily available to inquiries. The supporting staff is also the BEST! I recommend them unconditionally.

Excellent service

Dr. Anand has been my cardiologist since 2018 and I would highly recommend him. He has been excellent in explaining treatment options and addressing my Afib condition.

Dr. Anand is very kind and provides thorough explanations of lab results and recommendations. He is completely familiar with even the most minute details of my health and never rushes an exam. Office staff is friendly and I rarely wait more than 5 or 20 minutes.

An outstanding cardiac physician who really cares for his patients and makes every procedure recommended very clearly presented to you. I have known of his superior work since he arrived at HCH and highly recommend him to any person in need of the cardiac care in which Dr. Anand specializes.
