I had been a patient of Dr. Yonker's at Sarasota Arthritis Center for over 10 years. I even brought my mother to him as a patient, I had moved to Manhattan for a few years and when I returned I started to see Dr. Yonker again. Right away all he could talk about was joining his Concierge program for $1,800 a year. He said then he could see me as my PCP and my Rheumatologist both. I joined the program at the great cost not knowing that he was charging me specialist prices to be my PCP. I paid $1,800 for the Concierge Program, ran the visits through my insurance, and still had to pay $280 for a PCP visit! I felt this wasn't right so I withdrew from the Concierge Program only to be released from their practice, which, as we all know, means Im now blacklisted from the entire Physicians' group which runs the town. Bottom line, Dr. Yonker acted like a child and completely earns his 2 star rating on over 12 physician rating sites. I'd rather be me than a disrespected doctor.

Dr Yonker has treated me for over 20 years through the ups and downs of this little understood disease. I've been fortunate that with his treatment and the grace of God, I have been able to continue to work and have a reasonably normal existence.

Terrific experience from prior paperwork, professionally greeted, detailed review of symptoms, up to Dr. Yonker himself. He went over my past surgeries with me & made recommendations on each of my issues. His manner is very compassionate & his knowledge is exceptional. Thanks very much to the entire staff. Highly recommend.
