Struggled to get me on the right medication. Didn’t feel seen or heard in appointments and when HE was 25 minutes late to our appointment he charged me $125 - when I contested this as it was him that missed the appointment he sent me a condescending letter and stated I shouldn’t have appointments right after his. I have a job and had to get back to work. This all resulted in him firing me as a patient so if you have mental health needs, I would strongly advise you go elsewhere.

In 2011 I started into serious depression. I could barely get out of the house and was having dangerous thoughts. Having two young daughters, leaving them without a dad wasn't an option. Dr. Wollff's caring and confident manner helped me get back to where I could function as a human being.

Poor Interpersonal Skills for a Dr.
Mediocre, has been sarcastic and demeaning. Likes to 'joke' around. Seems to know his field well but isn't very professional at times. Don't totally trust his judgement. It is impossible to get a live person on the phone in his office. I have been his patient for several years as I need medication. Am looking for a new doctor.

Chronic sleep problems resolved.
A good sleep clinic which recorded overnight real time data while I “slept” could not provide a diagnosis or solid direction to me to mitigate the severe effects this had been having on my life. Dr. Wolff has successfully treated me with medications which resolved my problem 99% of the time for more than a decade. I judge him to be competent, patient, kind and genuinely concerned with my well being. He answers questions. He wasn’t the first doctor I dealt with on this, but I judge him to be the best.

After starting an anti- depressant with my GP that made me sick and suffering with depression for another year after that because I didn’t want to go through that again, my GP urged me to go to an expert. He quickly found a medicine that helps. Great empathy, too.

If I could I would give him and his secretary no stars. First it is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone, you are always leaving messages and waiting days to hear back. The secretary is the most unpleasant person, she always has an attitude, and acts as if you are bothering her. You will also go days without hearing back. You better hope you do not need your meds refilled before you are fully out, or you are screwed. Also he has the messiest office I've seen.
