Richard treated our intellectually and developmentally disabled son for 40 years. He pretty much controlled his seizure condition. However, after we found a new neurologist he discovered that our son was missdiagnosed by Dr. Weisman and that he has a rare condition called Lenix Gasteau Syndrome. Now with the proper medication is like a new person. His cognitive level rose dramitically and his general behavior is practically normal. We suffered for 40 years for nothing. So sad. I just wanted Richard to know he blew it.

TERRIBLE...in a word. misdiagnosed my daughter after looking at CT Scan, ordered an MRI to confirm his diagnoses...nurse calls and says all is good..this clown doesn't call back..tells my daughter she needs anxiety medicine, fails to follow up...nothing...an absolute clown of a doctor....the receptionists and nurses are just as bad, rude, indifferent and uneducated. BE WARNED

First, he had no expression when he entered the room and did not greet us by name. He was rude to both me and my uncle who is in the late stages of Alzheimer's. We were told that he was an exceptional specialist but he had no patience with my uncle's inability to follow simple commands. When I attempted to tell him about his rapid decline over the last 7 months, he told me to shut up I was making him lose his place!

I have been seeing Dr. Weisman for about 8 or 9 yrs now. and from the very first visit I liked him. He has always answered all my questions. When I went to see him I was having seizures, he has them totally under control. I thank him for that!!! I trust him very much!!!! He will go to any length to figure out what is wrong and what he can do for you,

Dr. Weisman is wonderful, and everyone knows it because I couldn't get an appointment with him for 3 months (!) following a hospital stay. I could get in with a PA sooner, but I trust Dr. Weisman and do not want to see someone I've never met before for an important appointment.
