Dismissive
Dismissive, arrongant and condescending. His medical assistant was sarcastic and rude. It was a weird visit overall.

*Patient for multiple years -- Dr. Trosch* If you're looking for a doctor that will actually listen to you about how you're feeling and what's changing with your symptoms -- do yourself a favor and find a different doctor. You will not be heard with him. You will constantly be reminded of where he received his education and that he knows A LOT about neuro. If you do your own research you will constantly be shut down because if it's not what he knows, then it's not accurate. If you end up asking him any questions outside of your diagnosis (because you're wondering if new symptoms are possibly RELATED) you will be charged additional money -- even if it's just a few minutes. You will be belittled and disrespected by the staff (they all hate it there, so they take it out on you). This doctor by far, has ended up being the WORST doctor I have seen in my life. I honestly have no idea how I ended up being a patient for as long as I did. I am a younger woman so I am able to stick up for myself against the disrespect that was often given to me, but if you are someone helping find an elder a doctor -- keep searching, and don't look back. I can absolutely promise you, you will find a better doctor.

A “Painful” Experience
Dr. Trosch diagnosed my husband with Parkinson’s Disease a few years ago. That, in itself, was difficult enough, but when our office visits with him were more “painful” than the disease, there’s a problem. He presented with a hostile bedside manner. His treatment method was medication only. He refused to recommend/prescribe physical therapy or any other rehab option, in addition to the medication…citing that it was a “waste of our time and money.” Each of our visits became more confrontational and when I questioned his methods, I was told I was no longer allowed to accompany my husband on future visits. That was our last appointment with him. We would never recommend Dr. Trosch to anyone with a neuromuscular disease.

I visited Dr Trosch on 4/18/2022 I was greeted by a very sarcastic nurse. When I met with Richard Trosch he came acrossed extremely arrogant, very poor bed side manner, and would constantly interrupt me while I was trying to explain my issues. He is the first and only doctor I have ever walked out of during a doctors visit. I wish I would have read all the reviews (negative) online about him before I made the appointment otherwise I would have never gone.

Dr Trosch know's what he's doing but his bedside manner is very cold. Let me say this Sandy is A+. My dad was referred by his primary neurologist (Dr. Trosch referred to him as a common neurologist) My dad had never seen the images of his brain MRI so to say the least it was a heart dropping experience all of his Dr.s had made my dad and family aware of the issues but to see my dad's face Dr. Trosch Said we'll you already know what's going on. Devastating to say the least. Dr Trosch you should be aware of how you talk to and treat others. Until you walk is somebody eles's shoes. My dad has a brain condition that by no means give you any right to treat him as if you are better. My whole family has college degrees in different majors . my dad nor myself would speak down to you if you were going through a issue related to engineering . Just dismissing someone and their questions is RUDE. Thankfully my dad is doing well Thanx for your diagnosis. Forgive my grammar I am educated

within 60 seconds he diagnosed me. 2 other very highly recommended neurologists could not come up with a definitive diagnosis and he did within 1 minute. impressive! he was very kind and explained my condition and gave a very gradual schedule to take the meds so I would not have many side effects. I highly recommend him

I saw Dr. Torsch for the first time 10-31-2019. I found him to be very knowledgeable, patient and kind. His office staff were also understanding. I didn't even wait 5 minutes in the lobby. I highly recommend this office.

I had set up my first appointment with Dr. Trosch as a consultation only and was totally impressed by his keen observation of me. He was able to focus in on how my medication was affecting me, gave me good advice and confirmed what I already know that I have Parkinson's. I was so impressed that I have decided to see him on a regular basis. I have confidence in him to make improvements in my condition and trust him to give me the right amount of medication to control my symptoms.

There is absolutely no doubt that Dr. Richard Trosch is outstanding in his field of treating Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. Based on my two visits with him, I concluded that he is was not fully aware that how he presented the information to me resulted in unnecessary stress for almost three weeks. I sincerely hope that he will be more aware of how he presents the information to his patients in the future. I also believe that he sincerely cares about his patients and does his very

We were recommended to Dr. Trosch by some MI friends. While visiting from FL, I had set up an appointment to have a second opinion diagnosis for my husband who has a "progressive neurological disorder." Dr. Trosch was thorough, honest, straightforward, easy to talk with and totally understandable in explaining a very difficult mental issue. How refreshing to speak with a doctor who doesn't "fluff" you off with some vague diagnosis that doesn't allow you to understand what you are dealing with

He was incredibly rude and dismissive. Everything I said he contradicted and said was wrong. He asked for all sorts of information for a first visit of which he looked at none of it. The worst is he clearly claims expertise way beyond his skill. He told me that the symptoms I had and the after effects of my Meningitis were not correct and that anyone who has Meningitis can walk out of the hospital like nothing happened. I looked it up and all the things that happened are typical.
