Exceptional Doctor
Dr. Tallman is an excellent doctor. The amount of detail that he goes into when discussing things with you is unparalleled. He is gracious with his time and it really seems like he wants the best for his patients. My appointment with him was like a lesson, and I came away from it feeling that I really have some viable tools to better my health. Not one thing I said was ignored or overlooked. It was like he'd been my doctor for years, but I was a new patient! I appreciate this man and his sincerity very much! See Dr. Tallman!

I had an embolitic stroke in my early 30’s. Dr. Tallman was my neurologist. I survived and regained most of my deficits. Dr. Tallman was patient, empathetic and most important, he gave me hope. He encouraged me and saved my mental health. I am blessed to have had him as my neurologist.

Had a great visit. Diagnosed me with occipital neuralgia and put me on Gabapentin. Called to refill my meds during the "freeze" and the on-call doc refilled them. The next month, two weeks before my appointment with him, I called to refill them again and he said no, not until after my appointment. So I'm left to go off of it cold turkey, suffer withdrawal, the pain from the occipital neuralgia, and the possibility of seizures from stopping the medication. I am both confused and angered by the irresponsibility of prescribing me a medication that I'm not supposed to stop cold turkey, and then forcing me to do so.

Extremely informative and listens exceptionally well. Was a breath of fresh air after going to several doctors that didn't take my chronic pain/fatigue seriously. He sat down and had a discussion w/me for at least 30 mins and really showed genuine concern and caring for my condition and getting me better as well as recommended several next steps to take, even giving me a direct extension to call if I had any questions in the future. Cannot be happier w/his thorough consultation and kind attitude.

I was recommended to Dr Tallman by a good friend in the medical community and scheduled an appointment to get a third opinion however I was contacted 3 days later by his nurse, Michael, who informed me that Dr Tallman would not be seeing me. When questioned, I was told that he has nothing else to offer based off what he's seeing yet he never even received my previous doctor's notes. I spent a month trying to find a general neurologist and thought I finally landed on someone yet I was basically t

My wife suffered a significant stroke 2 years ago. We were lucky to get Dr Tallman assigned to the team! He has great communication skills, which helped me during a prolonged critical situation (my wife doesn't remember the stroke or the 2 months after). He helped me understand what was going on, what decisions needed to be made, and the implication of those decisions. Dr. Tallman's staff is responsive, and if I have questions I can leave messages for Michael and he'll get answers for me.

dr tallman disregarded my symptoms and complaints, and decided that i had a totally different disease than I had. the treatment he recommended caused me to get worse. he didn't listen to me. I went to another doctor who listened to me, did appropriate tests, made a different diagnosis and gave me a different treatment. I improved under the new docs care.

I usually don't write about someone, but Dr. Richard Tallman is The Best of the Best He is the most compassionate doctor I have ever experienced. He listens, he's engaging, and is extremely intelligent. He is so patient and kind. One can tell right away that he stays up on all things medical. He is the kind of Top Doc that knows a whole lot of details about a whole lot of subjects. He has been a blessing to my wife as well as me. He is our book of knowledge and we hope that you experience him.
