Dr. Stern was the physician assigned to me at the time of my preoperative visit, and the physician assigned to follow me throughout my hospital stay. Dr. Stern, provided excellent care, in a most wholistic manner. He is very matter-of-fact, extremely competent, thorough, detail oriented, which all contribute to him being an excellent diagnostician.

Office was a mess and office staff clueless. He does not take Cigna even though his website says he does. I wasted a trip from NJ. Don’t bother.

I have been going to Doctor Stern for over thirty years. To me, he exemplifies the best in the intelligent, practical, personal approach to the practice of medicine. His reports are thorough, clear, and sensible. I think he is a great doctor.

Dr Stern was my physician when I had my shoulder replacement at Hospital for Special Services. He was NOT my surgeon. He was responsible for my preoperative exam and follow-up visits during my hospital stay. This physician is rude, disrespectful and plain adversarial. I would never use him again. Nor, would I recommend him to anyone. He should take a step back and listen to what his patients are saying about him and readjust his mannerisms.
