Dr R Steffen is a brilliant dr and also a superior surgeon! I recommend him highly! He did both of my knees. That’s why I recommend him to everyone!

Excellent surgeon, great bedside manner, efficient office staff, delivers what he promised with my right knee replacement. I am 75 yrs. old with knee orthoarthritis Walking normally in 6 weeks. Physical therapy during 6 weeks, first 2 weeks at home then 4 weeks outpatient in my hometown. Very satisfied, I highly recommend Dr. Steffen.

I have been with Dr. Steffen since 2011 and had both knees replaced. He is a great surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner. He took the time to answer all my questions. I got a staph infection four years after my 2014 total knee replacement. Dr. Steffen saved not only my leg, but my life. I will be forever grateful for his expertise and skill.

I have had two total knee performed by Dr. Steffen in 2019. My recovery was phenomenal. I religiously did my exercises and went to outside physical therapy afterwards. It was hard and painful work but within two weeks I had almost full mobility. I highly recommend Dr. Steffen and his whole staff.

I've just had my fourth revision trying to fix what Dr Steffen did to me. See him if you want to spend the rest of your life trying to get it fixed.

Fifteen months ago, Dr. Steffen performed a partial knee replacement which turned out to be one of the worst experiences of my life. My knee remained swollen and I experienced some degree of pain on a daily basis. The doctor never seemed to take a personal interest in my health or his work. After my knee unexpectedly swelled for no apparent reason, I visited another doctor and had a full knee replacement done. The experience was night and day. My suggestion is to consider other doctors.

Dr. Steffen may be a good surgeon but his coordinating assistant is difficult to work with .,..She never returned calls , or she answered questions by saying I'll get back to you on that . The surgery scheduling was so screwed up, I still received calls by the OR staff regarding pre op approval a month after my wife had surgery by another Dr. If you can deal with Dr. Steffen's assistant , it may be wothwhile seeing Dr. Steffen. He seemed very competent.

Dr Steffen great doctor he know exactly where my pain is & gets it right every time. But certain staff are rude. My last injection was August 2014 and in the beginning of the new year I called for to set another injection & several times after, no answer. After 6 months calling & hurting & upset.Finally got a message that a staff member that was suppose to take care of this area was let go.I have the message saved. waited again & called again. Long story to explain, Got referral once. WAITING!!!
