Dr. Sperling asked me all the relevant questions and paid close attention to my responses. I have been a patient of his for maybe 20 years or more and have always appreciated his manner and professionalism. He is also my wife’s doctor. He diagnosed a serious issue she had and took care of it. I would recommend him to anyone.

Money grab
The doctor was not prepared for my visit, ordered another $3000 test for the same symptoms as my last visit, has had zero communication with my primary physician or my ENT. Doesn’t seem to really care about the patient’s quality of life, he’s just getting them in and getting them out.

Superlative Physician
Dr. Richard Sperling is the consummate professional. He is knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and compassionate. He has an excellent staff, who perform their work in accord with the Doctor’s instructions as well as being empowered to make reasonable judgments. Great Doctor!
I’ve been going to Dr Sperling for many years. He has a great bedside manner and always is upfront in communicating about my health. During and after his procedures, he explains everything that he did. On the follow up visit, he tells me what is going on, what to expect, and how to care for any issues he may have discovered. I have the utmost faith in his decisions regarding my health.

Directions for Procedure Inadequate
I was not given the appropriate directions for my procedure. I followed directions to a T - so now I have to repeat the procedure. No idea if insurance and facility payments (of course he owns interest in the facility) will pay since it will be the SECOND procedure in a row. The cost of transport is $80 to $100 dollars and that includes no procedure - just getting there. I’m very disappointed.
