I’ve been seeing him for sometime. He has been a true professional and treats me with respect. Always asking how I’ve been doing then treating me.

He has helped me manage my illnesses. I'm healing
What stands out is his ability to help me manage my depression and anxiety. He helped me discover some reasons for my struggles. Also how to manage having chronic illnesses along with my mental health. He is very professional. Not everyone will like his demeanor but he's my doctor not my best friend. I respect him and his ability to actually listen to my problems. He is straightforward in giving his thought which I like. His knowledge and skills have helped me learn about myself. And care about myself. I truly feel a lot better emotionally and physically since I began treatment. He has introduced to alternative treatments such as whole body light therapy. This treatment has helped me feel better despite having MS. Which in turn has helped my mental health.I would recommend him to people with chronic illnesses. They will experience a Dr. who understands and relates to our struggles. I would not go anywhere else. His staff is great. They make u feel comfortable especially Nikki.

I was warned by my friend about his rotten bedside manner. Which, a bunch of docs fail here. But truly, he's got the condescending thing my crazy peers, so follow your gut, and if it's bad, don't reschedule. Probably 8 months, all good. Switched around meds, I felt good. But he slowly started taking over prescribing meds that my GP or specialists had been giving. Bit of a control freak. I felt bullied into making these changes. Which is a weird dynamic. After 8 months, some med changes, and weight packing on. Under his care, I put on 65 lbs in 18 months. Did not decrease or remove meds. I'm now taking double one of them and the other was dropped. So is my weight. And the office staff is terrible. If they'd mess up, scolding texts would go out on how we needed to do this. As if executive functioning is not easy for us.Then the weekend of no meds cuz after 3 reminders, meds not called in. Then he implied I was lying. The last straw was a bit of a hissy. Found new doc. Fired him.

Non-welcoming, rude and unprofessional doctor I have ever visited. Not knowing they have a strict no food or drink policy, I brought coffee with me. When meeting with the doctor he took my coffee off of me and put it on his desk. He then had a five minute lecture with me about why they have a no drink policy. During my consult he revisited the policy again and one more time as he handed it to me when our meeting was over.

Please, whatever you do, find another psychiatrist. When I was a patient of his, I would get extremely nervous before every appointment. He was uninviting, he was cold, he was quite degrading when I was tell him how I was feeling in almost a mocking way. Anyone who has seen him before would know exactly what I mean. The staff SO rude/unhappy. Dr. Spector only wants Your $. I had an unpaid copay of $30, he stated “this is something that erks me. You need to pay your bills, now”. People beware.

NEVER go here peeps My husband is really sick was told by 2 docs to find a doc that would up his meds or be able to prescribe meds due to his mental condition . New patient they never called the day before his appt just billed us $200 no show . I even called them argued w them n they were HEARTLESS knowing how much he was suffering so this unnecessary bill caused him more undo stress . There lack of concern or empathy is very shocking to say the least . He needed meds n sound medical advice

Worst Dr. of any kind I have ever been to. Did not introduce himself or ask our names, held up his hand and said he would do the talking and explained disease and said it had a bad ending, I had to stop him for my mother's sake which made him angry. She fell in his office which made him more angry, St. Vincent's recommended him so I question their social services dept. but maybe because we Could get an appointment in one day- that should have been first clue. You can do much better elsewhere

Knowledgeable - that is it! Nothing else recommendable. Withheld prescriptions for money - knowing that there would be withdrawal from not having the antidepressant - extremely poor practice!!!

I don't suggest this doctor because he doesn't seem to care enough about your situation and how you feel. I just got medicine thrown my way without him hearing much of my story. He isn't compassionate and your visits are barely worth the money because they're about 10 minutes long.

BEWARE, office staff consists of his wife and 2 other rude, degrading, disrespectful women. They charge $180 for missed appointments. They tell you that you can pay $10 each visit until its paid off but when you go to make your next appointment they say it has to be paid in full before the dr will see you again. Wait time is at least an hour. They schedule several patients at the same time. Then will see you for 5 min. He will ask how your meds are working, write your script and bye. Doesnt care

Runs late without an apology, treats adult patients like petulant children and overcharges for 15 minute appointments. Regardless of wether you are a new or existing patient 15 minutes is all you get and he does most of the talking.
