Referred me three times to the emergency room for treatment of shingles because he wouldn’t treat me.

I have 3 years with him as my personal physician. First, he has poor interpersonal communication skills. No interest in being forthcoming with helpful information concerning his patients' questions; just the minimum of responses; when he's finished he's out the door before you realize it! Also, he is pushy to send patients off for some kind of lab work or testing without any good reason; I had to flat out tell him NO many times! The last straw was when I was almost out of my medication that I need when I called the refill into the pharmacy & found out they couldn't fill it until they got more in. They didn't know how long before they'd get more so I asked if they could fill it with a lower dosage tablet. They needed the doctor's permission and sent a fax to Dr Smith's office to have him sign off on it. He required me to get blood work done B4 he'd do it! I refused & found my RF somewhere else. Then he gave his consent! Don't go to a Dr who plays games like this!
