Dr. Schwab, a true expert in his field is extremely informative, kind and patient. He has given me excellent care for my breast cancer and his team at UCSD Komen Center is one the best in the country.

Dr Schwab, my medical oncologist at UCSD Moores Cancer Center, proposed a treatment plan based on an oncotype score of 19; real score=29. Fortunately I had correct score and he hurriedly changed treatment plan. He missed HCV even tho I'd told him I'd tested positive in 1980 and presented symptoms. (HCV hadn't been discovered then). His course of treatment without knowing about HCV resulted in Perpherial Neuropathy, which he dismissed as "vertigo" and I am now permanently disabled.

I feel very confident that he knows his area of expertise. I would highly recommend him to a patient undergoing chemo and radiation for breast cancer and the follow up appointments necessary to try to remain cancer free.

Dr. Scwabb is very informative, patient and overall welcoming. He keeps the atmosphere light but respectful. RN's Jamie and others are exceptionally helpful and the staff is courteous.
