Dr. Richard Schmitt, MD

Id give no stars but that was not an option, This Physician should not have a medical license. I went in to see him for neck pain with tingling in my toes. I suffer from depression and he took one look at that and asked me last time I was seen by my psyciatrist I said I see her ever month. He told me I just needed to see her. He never once assessed me or my complaint. Needless to say, I walked out.

Negative Ten Stars......Worse experience ever. Arrived at the ER and after waiting 5 hours in the waiting room, I was finally seen by the Dr. He walked in the room without any introduction and said, "Turn your phone off" (phone wasn't on). I proceeded to tell him what prompted my visit to the ER (swollen eye) and he pushed my head and leaned it back. I politely asked him to be patient and provide the same level of respect and decency as he gives to his other patients. Dr. Schmitt then responded and said, "I have a lot of patients and you need to just do your part ". He was rude, rushed through the time in the room, not empathetic and just outright insensitive as a Dr. No one should be treated with such indecency and he should truly consider another career field. It's sad that this Dr is still allowed to practice a any hospital and especially emergency care.

Does not care at all whatsoever. Should not be getting paid

Came to emergency room with my girlfriend. She was very sick, coughing, and in pain. This "doctor" said it was just anxiety and wanted to sedate her. We left immediately and are going to file complaints against him. Worst doctor I've ever met.
