I have always been impressed with Dr. Pelker. He is an excellent surgeon and helped me to maintain the health of my replacements knees so far for 18 years. I was only disappointed in the scars but that is it. He helped me to walk again and for that I will always be grateful.

he prescribed a toxic dose of naproxen which ruined my hearing in a day and a half. I was an idiot to go to him. Now I have the same orthopedic complaint and damaged hearing. Naproxen is dangerous, and he prescribed it without any warnings or cautions. Now I know why it was so easy to get an appointment while most orthopedists have a month or more waiting list.

Excellent surgeon. Bedside manner of a pre-recorded show: he talks at you, never, ever listens. He fails to advise patient of what to expect, nor provide sufficient instructions for surgery prep.

Dealing with Dr. Pelker and his nurses in regards to pain medication and or refills is the most aggravating experience. His nurses are rude and lack any degree of compassion. Before even checking with Dr. Pelker they say he won't refill a prescription request. It doesn't seem to matter what the circumstances are. I wouldn't recommend this office to my enemies.
