Knee Replaced 80 yo
Dr. Nixon operated on my 80yo father who has multiple comorbidities: heart disease, & kidney disease. Dr. Nixon was thorough, caring, and followed up when we called with concerns. Three years later, my Dad is doing great, getting on and off his big tractor, hauling hay, going bass fishing, and taking evening walks. I would not hesitate to have Dr. Nixon as my surgeon.

Great experience
A good experience from beginning to end! Dr Nixon and staff were professional, courteous, and made sure I was in complete understand of the whole process of my quad saving knee replacement. I was pleasantly surprised that I experienced no pair, discomfort yes, but no pair. My recovery was quick and physical therapy relatively easy. I recovered so quickly that I began flying on trips at 3 weeks post surgery. My surgery was 6 months ago and I have recommended Dr Nixon several times already. Cannot stress enough how completely pleased I am with my knee replacement, Dr Nixon and all his staff.

Waste of time and money. He didn't listen to my concerns and dismissed me within 2 minutes. Find a different doctor.

I asked my doctor who he would see if he had to have knee surgery and Dr Nixon was his recommendation. What a difference between him and the first ortho I saw. Almost 2 years post surgery and my knee is normal so much so that having problems with my knee again I thought it was the knee I had surgery on when it isn't - its the knee that hasn't so I am getting an appt and seeing Dr Nixon again for the other kneww.
