Dr. McConaughey is an excellent doctor. He takes the time to linsten and diagnosed your individual medical needs, coming up with a individualized care plan. I would highly recommend Dr McConaughey. Dr. McConnaughy is the best internist I have ever had. I have been a patient for more than 20 years. His depth of knowledge is phenomenal and he takes his time to explain in detail the ailments and required remedies. He has repeatedly corrected misdiagnosis made in ERs which have led to better treatment and quicker recovery.

I was fortunate enough to have had Dr. McConnaughy as my physician when he was practicing cardiology and geriactric in the state of Maryland. I was extremely disappointed when he relocated his practice from Maryland to Colorado. There weren't any other doctors in the area that I could put my faith and trust in, as he was extremely knowledgable in these fields to say the least. If I had any type of ailment, he was there to cure whatever it was. I envy all of you who have him as your doctor!

Dr. Mac has treated me for nearly seventeen years. He is a thorough professional, understands that medical decisions are shared, not imposed; moreover he is a warm, caring person and I consider him a valued friend. He also "tells it like it is" to assure there is no miscommunication. He understands the issues of aging better than any doctor who has treated me.

Highly knowledgable, very thorough exams, take his time, listens to patient, provides diagnosis and follow-up treatment plan in clear language. Best Internist we have ever had. Caught problem overlooked by an ER physician who diagnosed radiating back pain but it was a gangrenous gall bladder requiring immediate surgery which saved my life.
