He’s My SUPERHERO
Dr. Richard Marks performed two surgeries on my right foot. Saved me from a very bad case of diabetic foot gone wrong. I am an ICU Nurse who’s constantly on my feet. I never knew him before but He was always there for me from day 1 to recovery. He may be strict initially but he was very honest. He’s a Great Man with a BIG HEART. He gave his all to dry my tears away, and saved my foot. Now I consider him as a good friend, My SuperHero. Thanks So Very Much To You SIR. God Bless You more!!!

Dr . Marks performed an ankle replacement on my right ankle while he was affiliated with The University of S Alabama . The admission process was mishandled by his office. The anesthesia nurse who was to pefom the promised procedure was not there, so He proceeded without that additional relief. I never saw him even one time after the pre-surgery meeting. There was a circling of the wagons at the clinic with no explanation of his disappearance. The only comment from anyone was that he was on “administrative leave”. The whole process was a nightmare. He was very unprofessional! Avoid him!!

He is very rude and was told to leave rude Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. There were constant complaints about him and his offensive behavior to patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marks' since 2004. If it wasn't for him, my left foot would've been amputated due to a car accident that I was in, & my right ankle was also badly damaged & both of my knees were shattered. I've had to have multiple surgeries over the years & it took me 4yrs to learn how to walk again. My last surgery was in 2016 when I reinjured my foot & needed a new metal plate put in to help keep my foot more stable & to stop the pain. People don't realize that if they don't want to follow the dr's orders EXACTLY, not only is there a good chance that you won't heal properly, but when you go back & complain about something & he finds out you're NOT doing what you're supposed to you've basically wasted his time & energy when he could've been helping someone else. I LOVE Dr. Marks; he's always been great w/me & has helped me over the years. He's a great Dr & a FANTASTIC surgeon!!!

I had two bi-latral toe nail surgeries on my big toes in 2013 & 2014. To say my issues have been solved is quite the understatement. I wish I could attach pictures to be honest. I now HAVE to get pedicures done in order to get ANY relief from the butcher job he did & they're very painful when I get them done, and I go to a salon, not some hack job nail place.

I saw Dr. Marks for only 5 minutes. He was short tempered and rude. Insisted on assessing my GOOD ankle rather than the one that was injured and became angry when I declined, yelling for his nurse, Mary, to come in, and she is PSYCHO. She was subservient and groveling, even though he was abusive to her as well. He told me he "could not read an MRI" and refused to go over mine with me and then would not answer my questions when I picked up the report which showed 2 ligament tears! !

Dr. Marks & his Team are awesome! He gives you time to get your ?s answered. He doesn't jump to surgery as 1st course of action ~ taking conservative treatments that can be explored first. I had a mid-foot fused in 2012 & calcium deposit removed from my L foot in '13. No complaints ~ excellent outcomes. He's treated my ankle conservatively for the past year, but I've decided to have it repaired in Dec. He's not arrogant! I trust him & why wouldn't you want the head of the dept take care of you!

First, I need to say how irritated I am that I listened to negative reviews here and didn't see Dr. Marks earlier. I don't think I'd be in the position I'm in now if I had. I did not see any arrogance at all. Confidence, yes - which I'd expect a specialist to have. He knew and understood what's going on with my foot, and discussed a very reasonable plan. He took time to answer all of my questions and didn't act rushed. I'm impressed. I've already recommended him to a friend as well

Best surgeon for foot and ankle issues in town. Would not let anyone else touch my feet. He always tells it how it is and offers several options (when possible - my fracture didn't have many options but my ankle instability on the other side did). I was always included so in the decision! Love his sense of humor and didn't treat me like a number.

Initial wait 1 1/2 hrs. Past time. Only saw him twice out of 4 office visits. Always through his AIDS did I get my answers. The twice I saw him was for 5 minutes. I felt like cattle with a number. Not a face to face Dr.
