I would be dead if it were not for the skill of Dr. Richard Lopez, who performed a hideous operation known as the "Whipple Procedure" to save me from an aggressive and fatal pancreatic cancer. He removed 1/3 of my stomach, my entire duodenum, my gall bladder, 2/3 of my pancreas (the tumor was situated in the head of the pancreas, obstructing my common bile duct --fortunately, because this caused bile to back up and turn my whole body yellow with jaundice and that is how I got diagnosed in time)

Dr. Lopez truly cares about his patients. We especially appreciate that he wants his patients family members to be involved with their treatment and recovery. He has a great personality and is a compassionate human being.
