Very good doctor
I only desire a doctor that is experienced in their field of work. As an urgent care physician, this doctor was quick and thorough. He took care of my issue fast. Would you rather have a practitioner that was overly friendly and NOT experienced? People are getting too sensitive lately. He's was cordial and did his job professionally.

If I could give this quack of a “doctor” 0 stars, I would. We brought my mother in for a work related injury - he was rushed, lacked basic empathy and compassion and came in with the semblance of someone high on drugs ( wild eyes, sweating, slurring words-you get the picture). My mom was in a lot of pain and was taking a while to explain her injury, so she was talking slow - he kept cutting her off and laughing/shrugging. Bottom line : avoid this “doctor” at all costs. On another hand, the nurses, medical staff and office workers were outstanding. They were patient and extremely helpful.

The nurses were unbelievably nice and attentive. Then, in came Dr. Lopez. I didn't greet me, didn't ask many questions, or anything despite me barely being able to walk without crying. He poked around at my back a bit, told me it's either a UTI or muscular problem, then told me to wait for the UTI test to come back. In about 7 minutes he pokes his head in to tell me "It came back negative" then shuts the door before I can respond. Insult to injury, I told him i tried everything, and nothing worked. and what does he do? prescribe me a slightly higher than average dose of ADVIL. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? and the second that door closed, he said loudly enough for me to hear, "Goodnight everybody I'm leaving" I was desperate that night. One of the other offices I tried going to LIED and told me they didn't take my insurance. I was already heartbroken and upset to go along with the pain. All I could do after this night was cry. Thanks for nothing, Lopez

The staff registering and nurses where outstanding. The doctor was not in that category. OSF Little company of Mary needs to review their clinic doctors. Most people just don't go to the clinic just to go. We have concerns for health reasons and should be treated in an appropriate manner.

We took my 9 yo son to see Dr. Lopez at an urgent care center after a bad cut. He walked into room without greeting us parents or my son. He looked at my sons cut and literally just shrugged. After a few moments of silence we asked what he thought. My son needed stitches but was reluctant to do them. He thought my son would scream and kick (his words). We were certain he needed stitches so asked him to proceed with them, although his comments and demeanor expressed that he really didn't want to.

Horrible. This doctor has a horrible bed side manner. He was so rude, I was speechless. I would leave and go to the care station down the street if I see he was on staff. This man chose the wrong profession.

If your loved one has a mental health illness or you are just looking for compassionate care, DO NOT go to this doctor. He showed zero empathy towards our concerns and made it very clear from the beginning of the visit that there was nothing he could do, we should have walked out of the room. I asked for information on who WOULD be able to help us but there was no information provided. He did let us know that the clinic would be out of a job if other doctors would see their own patients.
