On this day last year (February 6, 2024), I had a seven-hour long major surgery performed by Dr. Lebovicz, which was an unforgettable experience. My ankle had a severe comminuted fracture. Dr. Lebovicz did a superb job. His strong work ethic, exquisite surgical skills, very professional conduct, and extreme attentiveness made a deep impression on me. Over the past year, my ankle has been improving steadily, and now I have a great outcome. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Lebovicz for all the excellent services he provided during my ankle surgery and post-surgical treatments. I would highly recommend him without reservation.

I had to go to dr lebovocz because he was the doctor on call not my choice. He came into my hospital room at 3 a m to check the surgical sight from which I had broken and dislocated my ankle. He was very rude receptionist was very rude and wait time in waiting room too long you should bring lunch. Would never go back to him again

Excellent surgeon
Dr Lebovicz was the surgeon on call when I went to JFK hospital on a Saturday in November 2015 for a badly fractured and dislocated ankle I suffered while visiting a relative in Edison. I live in Manhattan and thought about driving back there for the surgery, but my ankle was in really bad shape. Yesterday, 9 years later, I had an X-ray at Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC in connection with some pain I have been having in my Achilles tendon and the doctor was amazed that with all the pins and plates I had in my ankle, there is no arthritis. He said Dr Lebovicz did an excellent job and that I was very lucky - with a break as bad as I had he would expect to see arthritis. My pain was caused by tendinitis that had nothing to do with the surgery. So, while I admit that Dr Lenovicz is old fashioned and his office is not up to date (at least it wasn’t 9 years ago), he is a top notch, highly skilled surgeon, and I feel very lucky that he was on call when I showed up at the hospital.

Dr Lebovicz is a very nice doc i would give him a 5 star, but his office staff is very unprofessional, nasty, rude. The way the latina woman that answers the phone speak to the patient and family members is just unacceptable. It took me 3 days before i was given an appt for my family member follow after a surgery, she kept giving me a hard time, putting me on hold for a long period of time, saying she would call me back and never heard back i had to call again and get nasty in order to schedule that appt. It seems all they care about is getting paid and not the best interest of the patient. If his staff can have a better attitude i would say it's not a bad practice.

This doctor has operated on my mother, sister and myself. He’s been a professional caring doctor. I’ve had multiple surgeries, due to my physical injuries. Knees, shoulders, hand. He’s the best doctor ever. I love him, and I would recommend him to anyone.

This is the worse office I have ever stepped foot in. Unacceptable wait times, rude and arrogant staff and questionable billing practices. I have been ONLY coming here because this office is the closest doctor that accepts my insurance. He would be the LAST choice if I had free reign. I see the staffing speaking of an abounding amount of “patient satisfaction reports” after 6 months of traveling here from New Brunswick I have NEVER not once seen or been asked to fill one out.

Totally unprofessional!! I was speaking with another patient about how nice and prompt the office staff was about handling my paper work, the Secretary misheard my conversation. So Latina thougt she could ask me to reframe from bashing the office staff! I tried explaining that the Secretary misheard my conversation, she then closed the window in my face! I kept talking about how wrong they were for misunderstanding me, very unprofessional staff

My wife had been to the emergency room two days in a row with an unidentified back issue. We were directed to find a an Orthopedic to examine her further. Unfortunately today was Black Friday and all other offices were closed. This doctors office was open but they refused to see her even after me begging them and explaining how much pain she was in. They could care less, and the office manager Latania, was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Stay away from them!

The staff is very rude and in appropriate. The staff books me for an appointment at 9 am in the morning and calls back two days later to change the appt. for 12:45. I explained i was unable to make appt. and staff engaged in a rude tone and would not accept my answer attempting to force me into the other unscheduled appt. Handled very unprofessional. As far as the doctor goes he is extremely out-dated and does not explain well as to the patients care or needs. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

What a crappy doctor, staff, and office administrator! This place is a JOKE! Doctor should find a new staff, cleaning crew, and a new manager. She is god awful and needs to be reported to Department of Labor for patient abuse. Makes people wait WEEKS for disability form and makes up all crazy kinds of rules for practice. NEVER AGAIN.

My son is the Pt and we always respected the offices' valuable time. Today, we were there and were told a new referral was needed. Joanna called yesterday at 4:48 for today's 10am appt. My VM was full but it would've been late to get a referral. She should've told us at the last visit or at least called again so that I wouldn't have taken my son out of school and wasted my valuable time. She never came to window to apologize, she was telling another girl everything. Dr. never returned my call.

Doctor is incompetent, He dozes off when you're talking. The office staff is rude, but only because you can clearly see them ask the office manager questions regarding billing, scheduling, doctors notes , etc and you can clearly see her from the patient window advising the staff what to tell them but will not come out of her office to speak to you. The office Manager is useless , rude, no etiquette, I am surprised she's still there with all the complaints I've heard.

I never had an issue with the office staff here, they have always been kind & considerate towards all patients of this Dr.. The issue I have at hand is while my charts, meds, care and blood work is being evaluated by this "medical professional" he kept falling asleep in the exam room. On several occasions I had to make some type of comment in order to wake him up. He even misdiagnosed my bloodworm results as I had my regular Dr. evaluate it and she pointed out his numerous and egregious errors.

i would NOT recommend anyone to this doctor! he has absolutely NO bedside manner whatsoever. A doctor is supposed to make you feel comfortable but he is cold and in a rush to get you out. Appointments are made for nothing because you are not seen until an hour later. the staff tries to be nice but then they are forced by the office manager to be rude or say rude things to patients. The office manager is the absolute rudest person in the world. i have so much more to say but not enough characters

I definitely would recommend Dr. Lebovicz to family and friends. He is highly knowledgeable, very patient, answers questions in understandable terms, and he cares! Following my surgery for a fractured femur in January 2016, he visited me every single day at the hospital and then during my entire time at the rehabilitation center. I was there for 12 days beyond my hospital stay. His staff is very friendly and helpful. I have continued to see the doctor for follow-up visits.

At first my husband and I were not going to use Dr. Lebovicz because of reports we read online. Sometimes opinions of others affect the decision another person makes for their own life. However I am truly grateful that we listened to a nurse at our local hospital and went to see Dr. Lebovicz. From the moment we spoke to the first office staff to the moment we met the doctor personally, we have nothing but great things to say. Everyone was nice and very professional. The dr was superb.
