Dr. Richard Kahmann, MD

He's the only guy in town and thus seems too busy to practice medicine. It took 3 weeks to get an appointment, and it took another 8 days for imaging. Then, nothing. No call, no follow-up. Nothing. I ended up calling myself 8 days after the imaging showed up in My Chart and was told it would be another 3 weeks before I could get a follow-up appointment. It's worthless, and what a waste of money by Medicare. I'll be looking for a new doctor.

Excellent, Great Doctor for Back issues and keep me pain free for many years. I unfortunately had to change my insurance carrier and was unable to continue seeing him. I highly recommend him!

I didn't want to give a review until long after the surgery to give it time to do all that it could. Well 1 year and 4 months later my pain has decreased about 25%. I asked the doctor a couple of months after the surgery why I was in MORE pain. He said I needed an epidural, so I got one but did nothing. OK go get another one, again nothing. Well let's see, oh I know, we'll do Facet Nerve Burning, that's what you need. After the obvious that he is lost in what else there is to do for me, I gave up on getting any relief through him. My main concern though in Dr. Kahmann, is his real lack of concern that his surgery failed and I was still in so much pain. I guess because he got all of his money, there is no concern. I should have gone to a Neuro Surgeon like my neighbor suggested.

I was supposed to have my appointment with Dr. Kahmann this morning. When making the appointment, I told his assistant what my insurance was and she told me about how some insurance contracts had recently changed so they weren't sure if mine would be in network, but I could come and pay $195 and they would submit it to my insurance and find out. I was told there was no way to make sure ahead of time. I drove all the way there when I checked in, they asked for the $195 and said it was bc it WAS out of network. I said, "So you knew this already?" They said yes. I told them what the asst said when I made the appt, and they denied she told me that. They were very rude and not at all apologetic. Perhaps they figured once I had driven 2 hours to get there I would be willing to pay $195 out of pocket for a consult with an out of network surgeon I can't use because my out of network cost is $26k per year. He may be a good surgeon but I will never know due to this poor interaction.

Had no more pain after seeing Dr. Kahmann amazing. Highly recommend him to anyone with back or neck injuries.

Without question Dr Kahmann has made a normal life possible, I have had multiple procedures cervical & lumbar as well as my brother & friends all of which have been hugely successful! I thank God for Dr Kahmann...!
