Worst PCP
Dr. Iliff told me that I couldn't have an asthma attack while sitting. He said I would have to be exercising or outdoors for asthma to trigger. This is simply untrue there are many other triggers and factors such as sinusitis or allergies. He then ignored everything else I said and rushed the rest of the appointment. He also told my friend that cough medicine is mainly alcohol so she and her toddler should just drink a hot toddy at night because 'sometimes the old ways are the best ways.'

What could be improved
  • I didn't feel respected
  • Didn't listen or answer questions

Misdiagnosed me
I went to Dr. Iliff 3 times in less than 2 months complaining of chest pain, weakness, and trouble breathing. He kept telling me I had RSV and was still getting over it. He never tested me for it, he never took an x-ray, nor did a blood panel. The pain was finally so bad I went to the emergency roomed. They immediately found a 7cm tumor in my right lung. If Dr. Iliff would have done any of the basic things to diagnose me my lung cancer could have been cought 2 months earlier, not at stage 3.

I was a long-time patient with Dr. Iliff and came to know and respect him as a doctor and a friend. He is a great listener and advisor. I would still be a patient in his practice were it not for bureaucratic c_ _ _ (insurance)….so now I have a doc that I would not know if I met her on the street....she never sees me!

I had been going to Dr. Iliff for the last several years and never had a problem with him. I saw him a week ago for a very nasty looking ulcer like wound on my leg. He told me it was a Brown Recluse bite, to elevate my leg, and after about eight weeks I would have a large scar. He then walked out. When I stopped him and asked what I should do about it, he said "I just told you." I ended up going to the ER at St. Francis and stayed five days because he brushed me off. Don't go to him.
