Dr. Richard Huffaker, DO

I spent years as a veteran trying to navigate the insurance from the VA and limited options for doctors. It took almost 3 years since my maxo-fascial surgery to follow up with ENT. I had CT scans and X-rays done by an outside provider as well as a CT Asanti ordered. 3rd one in 3 years. He would not listen and brushed off my concerns about a foreign object in my sinus cavity. He told me “I’m the ENT so are you going to listen or not” and proceeded to review the CT scan that did not show the objects. The CT had been done 4 months prior, I knew what it showed as I already reviewed it. He was very condescending. He scoffed when I told him I have a degree in biology and was in grad school for DPT. Luckily admin was able to get me in with another provider even though he objected that, it was over 5 months to get this appointment and had it not been for admin it would be another year before I was seen.

Dr. Huffaker, is a wonderful holistic caring doctor. Dedicated, knowledgeable, really listens to his patients concerns. His skillful surgical procedure on my husband was top notched. We would recommend Dr. Huffaker to one and all.

Dr huffaker did 2 nasal surgeries and the results were poor. He referred me to another surgeon to fix the resulting damage

Doctor Huffaker, and P.A. Matthews are amazing! I found them very caring of their clients. They either preform the proper procedures or get you to the best Doctors for the procedure needed. I have trust in these two men! Thank You for saving my life!

Dr Huffaker was caring and very pleasant. He helped me with my chronic sinus and ear problems with aplomb!

Learned nothing accurate. Was body shamed and blamed and the condition itself was only mentioned when my husband started asking questions. He pointed things out on the CT scans that my specialist stated were wrong. They stated the body shaming was not only not necessary but not accurate. The foundation for my condition said they'd get me to someone else if he didn't because he wasn't stating anything correctly and shouldn't be speaking with such inaccurate authority. I usually give Drs a second chance due to the days they probably started with. It's not an easy field. But this really set the ground work for a scary procedure to feel 100xs scarier that in is and no one should be treated like this.

Himself and his team are caring people and did an amazing job on my tonsilectomy. I could of not asked for a better surgeon and care team thank u so much!

Ointment then culture WRONG Bad bad bad

I had co-workers refer me to this doctor, and my physician called over a referral. I called to make an appt, but the clinic wanted me to see someone else. While trying to not be difficult, it is my right to see whoever I would like, but apparently this clinic thinks otherwise???? I am a little disturbed. Dr. Huffaker is in my insurance network, he was recommended by a couple of my co-workers, my physician sent over a referral, even though not technically needed.

Dr Huffaker is compassionate and caring. He is knowledgeable about thyroid conditions and was able to explain the risks and benefits of surgery without pushing us to choose surgery as an option. He took time with us and made sure he was available to answer all of our questions.

I have Basal Cell Carcinoma on my right ear and face. Dr. Huffaker performed Moh's Surgery to remove the cancerous cells. The procedure was approx. 4 hours long. The results have been nothing short of fantastic. Because of the amount of tissue removed, a skin graft had to be done on my face/ear. He did a flawless job on it. Dr. Huffaker has the best bedside manner of any physician I have ever had. He is down to earth, honest, frank, and very professional. I HIGHLY recommend him!
