Excellent and Phenomenal
I owe my life to This Counseling Service. I have been going here for 5-years. Dr. Hill is: Knowledgeable, Compassionate, and Cares for His Patients! He takes all the time necessary to find the right solution for your problem! I have had 3-Counselors since starting here in 2017. My first counselors was: Male and Military and was moved to another State. My next counselors was a Female and Retired. And now, my new Counselor is: Young and very Vivacious in her approach! All therapy sessions are supported in science theories. Tested and tried in current research. The Office Staff has All been great to me over the last 5-years. There are group sessions offered on the weekends off and on during the year! I recommend Comprehensive Psychological Services

Excellent
I was very lucky to find Dr Hill when I relocated and need to find new doctors. He listens to what you are saying, and is very friendly/approachable while still very professional. I generally have a VERY hard time with new Dr’s (anyone new lol), but he made me very comfortable. The staff returns calls promptly, is friendly, and will go out of their way to help/accommodate you. Because he IS very busy, you may see complaints of excessive wait times. It does occur quite a bit, but I attribute this to how good he is (large patient roster) and I most definitely consider this slight inconvenience well worth it to be a patient of Dr. Hill’s.

I had my first psychiatric appointment tonight. It was telehealth and he was the sweetest and most attentive doctor. He really listened and was so validating. I left the appointment feeling heard and so much relief. He spent time trying to come up with the perfect medication and even let me participate in the conversation. Feeling hopeful!

Dr. Richard Hill is a knowledgeable, compassionate psychiatrist. For a decade and a half Dr. Hill has provided superior care for all mental health issues. In times of crisis, Dr. Hill has always returned my phone calls, with patience and kindness. Additionally, he has treated my daughter for depression and currently treats my son in the office and when hospitalized as well. With gratitude, Carol H.

Yep, Dr. Hill is always late. If you have no issues to report, your prescriptions are written, stop at the front desk for an appointment in 3 months, and you're out of there in 5 minutes, tops. If you are experiencing issues, Dr. Hill takes all the time necessary to figure something out. Have never had any issues with the front desk staff. Returning calls to dispensing pharmacy does take way too long; like days. I just call and bug them. If there was something that I did not like with regards to staff or service, I'd take it up with Dr. Hill . . . after-all, he owns the practice.

He is always late but it is because he cares about his patients. This is a difficult field to be in and he deals with many patients that have had a traumatic past and poor experiences with other doctors. If you can accept that you might have to wait, the time, level of care, experience, and knowledge is worth it.
