Dr Halterman was dismissive and unpleasant to me
At first he seemed kind. I think he is probably very knowledgeable as a Nephrologist. But I was extremely disappointed by his attitude. He treated me as if I am a defective human being He refused to take me as a patient when I needed it. Hence my disappointment. I had no choice but to look outside Western Nephrology as the provider I had was the worst doctor I ever came across. I never knew the importance of doctors before. Dr Halterman now ranks in the worst category to me just because of his terrible attitude towards me

Since my kidney stones (both sides, Ø6.5mm) I've been seeing Dr. Halterman concerning blood and urine analysis. As a retired engineer I really appreciate the depths my doctor is willing to discuss those analyses and the attendant technical data. He's been an educator for me. Thank you, doctor Halterman.

In my opinion Dr Halterman is the best Dr I have ever dealt with. He is very much interested in me as a person not only a patient. I have even had him call me (wow) to discuss or communicate about my medical issues. He seems to be very competent and motivated to figure out how to help me. I will give him my highest recommendation to friends and family.
