During my first and only consult, Dr. McDermott spoke to me like I was a third grader; very condescending. His comments and advice was very negative, i.e., stressing worst case scenario with everything. He made fun of how I explained my symptoms and corrected me (actually lectured me) on medical terminology. Arrogant, not reassuring and not compassionate. I cancelled my procedure and chose another provider. This visit really upset me and I left feeling very sure that I did not want to go back.
