Routine followup visit. Always an enjoyable and professional experience.

Dr. Gelb was very personable, and willing to listen to my concerns. He was efficient, and through as he explained his diagnosis, and recommendations. I never got the feeling he was judgmental as he encouraged me follow his recommendations. He was knowledgeable without displaying arrogance. I felt very comfortable talking to him.

Dr. Gelb always thoroughly answers our questions and explains his findings in a friendly pleasant and understandable way.

Met with Dr. Gelb and about 2 weeks later had a cardioversion at Mt Timp Hospital. It was an outpatient situation. I had the procedure, stayed at the hospital for about 1 hour and went home and rested the rest of the day. Now 3 weeks later I feel a lot better, to indicate the procedure was effective. Follow up appointment I was told to come back in 6 months. I telephone the receptionist 3 days later and asked for a call back concerning medication that I am taking and have not heard anything for the last 3 days, Will have to call again.

Dr Gelb is an amazing dr. He takes time to address all of your needs and concerns. He makes you feel at ease when dealing with such serious issues.

Had an appointment with the Dr. (I use this term loosely) He didn't bother getting my records from a bubble test done at Revere, which indicated I had a PFO and that I had a leaky aorta valve. He brushed off the PFO saying the state wouldn't allow him to close the hole because "too many procedures were being done" although two of my siblings have had strokes and had the hole closed due to them. He "invited me back if I had a stroke". Really? He also addressed my leaky aortic valve as "well, some valves leak." He offered to do a CT scan, which I was told would not check to see if I had a bicuspid valve, which could lead to an aortic aneurysm. He did, however, take the test results, that I had printed off in order to ask questions, to scan into my records. I should charge him for doing his lousy job. Also, be sure to get your notes after your visit. He will claim he did services that never happened and send them on to other providers so your health records are screwed up!

First off, the office staff are very friendly and kind. From making my first appointment over the phone to walking in the office, they have wonderful customer service! Dr. Gelb is wonderful too! He took the time to explain my condition to me. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Gelb!

Dr Gelb is great! Very polite, good sense of humor, fantastic bed side manor. I'm picky when it comes to doctors and I usually know right away if I'll like them. I would recommend Dr Gelb to any person. He listens and truly cares. Not to mention his staff his so helpful and courteous!

Dr, Gelb is hands down the best cardiologist I've had. With a pacemaker and a laundry list of weird heart issues as a result of living in a third world country, he has been persistent and compassionate while helping me live the best life possible. He takes as much time as you need, is easily accessible, and treats you like a person to be cared for, not a problem to be solved.

I've only had one visit with Dr. Gelb but I was very pleased. He gave me all the time I needed, answered all my questions, and was kind and caring. I was pleased with all of the office.
