Dr. Richard Gaines, MD

Nice guy, his assistant is wonderful. I’m having SEVERE pain. I went to see him complaining about it. Instead of listening to my complaints, they blew me off and DISCHARGED me. Meaning they closed my case, and cut me loose. Now I’m working in New York dying in pain.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Gaines. I found him to be knowledgeable, understanding and a good listener. I will return in three weeks after an MRI for a follow up appointment.

Dr. Gaines is very professional and kind. He answered questions and listened to my complaints, he took his time. His office staff is top notch.

The office staff was pleasant. Waiting time was very good. 5 minutes. Dr Gaines asked questions, was attentive, gave good assessment.

Dr. Gaines is amazing and knowledgeable in his profession. He not only cares about the injury, he cares about the individual as well. I love my surgeon!

Dr. Gaines is the best. He is conservative but caring. He performed bilateral knee replacement on me as well as one hip. This visit was a four year follow up on my knees and two years on my hip. I have recommended Dr. Gaines to about 5 different people and all are as pleased as I am.

His care and concern about my knee

Its only been about 60 hours (in my third day after surgery) and I am doing great. With the exception of balancing the pain meds after the nerve block expired, I have had little pain and am looking forward to a great outcome! Dr Gaines gets two thumbs up from me.

Office staff very helpful and friendly. Nurses friendly and efficient. X-ray tech is good. PA was attentive. Be Bold Be Quick Be Gone All was well and good.

Dr Gaines is a God-Send. I've been in intractable pain from a surgical shoulder injury, trying to get appropriate care for months. Dr Gaines demeanor is calming, he listens without talking over the patient, is empathetic, and his timely summation of my diagnosis and the plan he suggested has finally given me light at the end of the tunnel. The very kind and inviting front and back office staff represent him well. I am very glad to have found him.

I’ve been bounced around for 3 years and where my complaint was they stayed with that and didn’t think this was a radial pain, it’s coming from elsewhere. Dr. Gaines did. My complaint was confusing to him but upon the exam and his questions he figured out the problem and on Monday, Dec 19, 2022, 3yr anniversary of crying for help and now a dead arm, he is going to fix me. I have faith in him. He’s told me everything. You can trust him and he is nice to talk to. He’s a great doc with 36 yrs experience and in all those years he has worked on thousands of people. A wonderful Doctor and smiles at you and hears you and explains. Awesome Doc!

Dr. Gaines did an excellent job with my total knee replacement. He is professional yet takes the time to explain things and answer questions. I would highly recommend him.

Took xrays and discussed what was going on and steps to take to deal with it. Was happy to know there were multiple things to try with surgery as a last resort.
