Find the best for cataract surgery
While there are many eye surgeons that can do cataract surgery, there are also complications or issues that can arise. I would highly suggest recommend finding a surgeon that can deal with any complications that arise rather than convenience. These surgeons are likely to make the best decisions along the way and recognize issues earlier. Select someone with the most training and experience for best result. Dr. Francis is very kind but in my case was not the best choice.

Dr. Francis performed cataract surgery on both of my mom's eyes. She had such a wonderful experience at his office and at the surgery center. She has worn glasses most of her life and now she reads 20/20!!! She can now see colors that she hasn't seen in a long time! I cannot thank Dr. Francis enough for taking such good care of my mom! He and his staff have truly been a blessing to her.

Went for my annual eye exam that is free to most who have insurance. They billed my medical insurance because of my diagnosis (not that they did anything...just a diagnosis). When I asked why my medical was billed, they told me that because he is an ophthalmologist and that I had a diagnosis. Makes no sense to me. It would be like me going to my family physician and he billed my eye insurance because of being near sided. Beware!

I loved Dr Francis. He was very professional and made me feel at ease with the procedure. He did an amazing job removing my cataract and I could not be happier.

I wish I never went here, and I warn others from going there. They charged me $460 for my annual eye exam that is always covered by my insurance company VSP. When I called to ask why I got a bill when my annual eye exam is always no cost, they said because Dr. Francis is not an Optometrist, but technically an Ophthalmologist, so they billed my insurance as medical and not vision. So even though his office is covered and referred by VSP, there is nothing they can do. They are crooks.
