My wife's friend referred us to Dr. F after her husband needed serious help. Unfortunately, I wasn't far behind and suffered an extremely complicated series of events requiring diagnosis and treatment. When reading some of these reviews I panicked. I didn't necessarily need someone to, "tell me like it was, especially when suffering." I knew some of what I was dealing with I just couldn’t fix it myself. Guess what COULDN’T HAVE BEEN A MORE KIND OR TALENTED PHYSICIAN. I was treated respectfully, listened to, diagnosed properly, and met with traditional and novel progressive treatments. I would never have imagined 4 yrs later; I would have responded so well, allowing me to be a great husband, father, employee, son…person. Life continued to get hard; treatment continued to get better, dialed in and I always appreciate when he can fit me in. As for the 1 star review, if you have over 6 friends that had a bad experience maybe give eachother some feedback or start a support group?

My wife was out on a lot of drugs and is now addicted to them. She was told the kids And I are her problem. She argues all the time now. I was told not to speak to her until she took her medication! Her internist said she belongs in rehab. Worst psychiatrist in town!

I see Richard Falzone on here "apologizing" to one patients parent. I have encountered a half dozen former patients of Richard's whom tell similar stories about further dividing families already in conflict. Richard is very talented at presenting manipulations as empathy. Whenever Richard's views are challenged by a patient or their family, he doubles down and blames them by saying "well you asked for my help". When I requested the notes from my sessions, richard informed me he needed to review them and see which ones I could have, if any (I was 30 at the time) and then had a high priced lawyer step in to keep me from ever obtaining them. Richard sees his patients as diagnoses that need to be handled, in my experience, genuinely helping is his last priority. Buyer beware.

My family and I had come across Dr. Falzone from a recommendation of a family friend during the darkest years of my life. He was a crucial and important part in my recovery, healing and overall growth as a person. His belief in wilderness therapy is amazing! I can confirm that it is incredibly healing. Dr. Falzone encouraged me and supported me in my choice to spend two months in the great wilderness of Utah, and it revolutionized my life for the better- I didn't even know it at the time. He has made a profound impact on my life, and now I am able to help others who struggle. Dr. Falzone does not sugar-coat and is very upfront, which is admirable in today's day and age, and important in treatment (so I believe). He is very warm, trustworthy, compassionate and you can tell he cares deeply for his patients. If you are looking for a wonderful doctor, he's the person to go to!

I have been seeing Dr. Falzone for about 6 months now. He was recommended to me from a close friend of mine when I was not at my best emotionally. Dr. Falzone has been one of the most supportive and genuine people in my life since I have met him. He is empathic, intelligent, and authentic (very- straight forward with everything) which I can appreciate because being a 32 year old adult, I don't have the desire for people who sugar-coat things. He has been a HUGE help in my life.

Richard Falzone brought me into the room at the end of a session and verbally degraded my son infront of me over his substance abuse issues and emotional behavior. He referred to my son as a "violent narcessistic punk" and refused to work with him after our 5th session. This was EXTREMELY unprofessional and I do not recommend anyone to see him under any circumstance.
