Dr. Richard Berquist, MD

I have been a patient for 4 decades. He is the most compassionate doctor and I have never felt rushed. What has not been noted by other comments is that he work in Emergency Medicine at the Fresno Community Hospital before limiting his practice to family practice (PCP). I cannot stress enough how much he cares about his patients, especially me and my conditions. He often says Fresno is in need of quality PCP's. If I ask for a referral to a specialist, it is done by the time I check out! His office staff is beyond excellent and they always have smiles to greet and check me out. If there were a score of more than 5 stars, he would get a 10 from me and my wife.

I’ve been seeing Dr Berquist for years. I feel he really cares about your health and overall well-being. His staff is very friendly and I will continue to recommend others to him.

Dr Berquist has been my primary care physician for 25 years. He has been terrific on every occasion. He is also my family physician and cares for 3 generations of my family. I've been going to Dr. Berquist for 17+ years now, and wish I'd found him sooner. As was stated in another rating, I've never felt rushed, or made to feel that my questions or concerns were not important. His ability to empathize and sympathize are unparalleled in this age of me, me, me. I literally trust him with my life.

I've never had a doctor who listens, empathizes & truly cares as much as Dr. Berquist does. There have been times that I felt I was taking up too much time, needing answers to many questions, yet I've never once felt rushed by him. He's always patient and gives me the time & compassion needed on any given day. Yet, he is willing to refer to specialist when needed. I already have referred both family & friends! He's absolutely the best!
