Very thorough and knowledgeable doctor
She did her homework on me before my first appointment. I was impressed with her and her knowledge of my condition and its many problems. I have great faith in her skills. She is also very personable and caring.

I had a very professional visit. I found her very intellectual and easy to communicate with. I’ve got C.R.E.S.T. Very complex immune disorder. I’m going back for my second visit. At this point I have nothing but respect for her. Linda Simmons

I have been seeing Dr. Gupta for several years. I have been diagnosed with lupus. I was advised by a doctor friend that I should go to Emory for treatment because doctors on the coast just don’t see enough lupus to treat it as well as places that specialize. So I did. In short, the specialist at Emery were very impressed with Dr. Cooper does treatment. She had actually diagnosed a couple of aspects of my condition that are very unusual and they were curious as to how in the world she had figured out that this particular conditions….i told them That I had come in order to seek a second opinion and make sure that I was receiving the treatment that I needed. They assured me that I was receiving top notch medical care from Dr. Gupta. In addition, I have always found Dr. Gupta and her nurse practitioner to be very accommodating. I do feel that she is very direct, but I have never taken this as rude. She tends to business and moves on. They are always very professional and responsive.

I was very disappointed with Dr Gupta. It seemed as though she was listening in the initial consult but when I went back she UNdiagnosed me from Lupus, which was good news that it was ruled out; however when I was looking at her with a puzzled look she began repeating herself but screaming at me, which made me really uncomfortable! Says to see her back in 6 months! No further testing or suggestion of a different type of autoimmune problem or referral to another type of dr. Don’t waste your time!

Dr. Gupta incorrectly diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis. Over the course of a year, she prescribed 3 different immunosuppressants that are dangerous drugs, but wonderful for someone with autoimmune arthritis. I got a second opinion when the 3rd medication she prescribed didn’t work. Dr. Gupta never ordered a contrast MRI. If she had, it would have clearly shown what my rheumatologist at Ochsners discovered has been the source of pain all along. I would not recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone.

She was not willing to listen, she made her mind up about what type of patient I was even before listening to my medical history and symptoms. Her nurse was VERY rude, to the point of accusing me of exaggerating my symptoms. I also have a service dog that’s from, a SERVICE DOG ORGANIZATION , trained to detect my rare seizures. They refused to see me or even let him inside the building. My husband had to come get him. After seeing another specialist during same flare up, he diagnosed me that day!

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Gupta. She was professional, welcoming, thorough, knowledgeable, sympathetic, and spent so much time getting to know me and my medical history. She seems to be very good at what she does and left a wonderful impression on me. I feel like I can trust her 100% and I'm glad to have found a great doctor. Her office staff was also very nice and there was hardly any wait time.

Dr. Gupta did a very complete survey of my medical history. She found a life threatening problem and immediately informed me and prescribed the proper medical procedure to take care of the problem. She also sent me for more tests. I particularly am impressed with the way she explained everything to my satisfaction.
