Dr. Rezene Berhane, MD

I had my first appt with Dr. Berhane today. He went over my records from 10 years ago and identified issues that my previous Dr. overlooked. He is a man of action and created a team and action plan for me to follow. He is not into all the medical red tape and his staff are very responsive and helpful. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to my next appt. I consider him a friend.

Dr. Berhane and his staff are great. He is spot on with his diagnosis' and truly listens.

This has been my doctor for over 8 years. I drive an hour to see him and do it with a smile. He is so caring and thoughtful and funny too. Just always makes me feel better and takes charge with anything I’m concerned with. He has helped me immensely with my chemical dependency and alcoholism. Because of him and God I am alive today

If you are looking for a Dr you can talk to like a normal person this is the place .. He is very careful and always helpful . Place is very very clean .. Thankyou for your time !!

I never write reviews for anything but am compelled to in this case because this is a special doctor. Here is my experience working with him... Dr. Rezene Berhane operates his own medical practice called Walpole Medical Center and is a Primary Care Physician. I've been his patient for about 3 years. First, the man is extremely knowledgeable in many areas of medicine such as dermatology, gastroenterology (GI), physical and occupational therapies, mental health and substance use as well as many more disciplines which is rare if not unheard of for a PCP. But beyond his expertise as a medical professional (because let's face it there are a lot of very smart doctors in the world) is a human being who genuinely cares about his patients. He is compassionate, supportive, and to him going the extra mile for me has just been the norm such as recently when I was hit by a car giving me 3 month Rx's on all my meds. Dr Berhane is without a doubt the best PCP I've ever had and it's not even close.

I've tried to leave 3 extremely amazing reviews here for this amazing Dr. And his staff but for some reason it won't let me post them, so I will have to express my extreme gratefulness to them at my next appointment! I will say this though, I'm an extremely difficult 45 year old patient with some unfortunate medical disabilities and the Dr and his staff are amazing and treat me like a person not just about $$ walking out the door. They make me feel cared for, and I appreciate that so very much!!! Thank you!

Dr. Berhane takes time to listen. He fully understands what the patients needs are. He is exceptional and explains everything.

Dr. Berhane is the most compassionate, understanding and thorough doctor that I've ever had. He's a credit to his profession and I wish there were more like him. I moved out of state so I have had to change to another doctor but I wanted Dr. Berhane to know how much I, and my family, appreciate him and everything that he does. I admire the person he is and thank him for genuinely caring for all of his patients! Thank you so much for all that you do and all that you've done for me. You're one of a kind.

I've been seeing Dr. Berhane for at least five years, despite living an hour and a half away, further at times. He's by far the most compassionate, understanding, capable doctor I've ever had.

Staff is rude. He rushed me out. People walking in and out to take drug tests at 3 while i was waiting. No reminders of appointments.

For one reason or another I have Never really like the doctors I've had. Because of this I have not gone on several occasions when I really should have. About a year ago I made a goal to find a Doctor Who I not only thought was a good doctor but a good guy I found doctor Berhane on line and had read one of his reviews and thought I would give him a call. I'm glad I did I really feel like he has my best interest in mind and I find him very easy to talk to a down to earth guy exactly what I was looking for . I would also be remiss if I did not bring up all of his staff they are fantastic really I've been known to miss an appointment here or there and for had to change one at the last minute and on every occasion they have helped me out and gotten me in as soon as possible I have really appreciated it I would just say anyone who is looking for a doctor you should give them a call I think quickly you will see exactly what it is I'm saying

I had gone to endless amount of doctors to figure out what was wrong with me and Dr. Berhane was the one to finally diagnose me correctly and get me on the correct medication. He was very understanding and listened to everything I told him. The office staff is super friendly!! I always recommend him!!

Seeing Dr. Berhane was one of the Best decisiond i have ever made. Dr Berhane and his Staff are very kind and welcoming along with being very experienced. Would recommend him to anyone that is looking for help or just needs a good primary care doctor. They are great!!

Dr Berhane is simply the most caring and sincere Dr I have met in my life and I worked in hospitals for over 25 years. His staff are top notch and helpful and not condescending to their patients. The fact they are open on Saturdays says a lot also while others are golfing and boating they are caring for patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Berhane for over 3 years and I have never felt better cared for. He is very attentive and listens to the needs of the patient with much respect. I could not have picked a better doctor. Highly recommended!

The staff is very accommodating and respectful to you and your feelings. Dr Berhane makes you feel very comfortable and no question is stupid in his eyes. Dr Berhane always greets you as an old friend. The office is non judgmental, safe place for all your feelings and questions. I could go on and on. The best in the Industry! Compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Always gives you encouragement and even on bad days brings a smile to your face. Empathy is a trait that is rare in this specialty and nobody does a better job in making you feel comfortable and at ease when dealing with recovery. He is treating a devastating disease and reiterating the importance of this to the patient is paramount to the recovering of the patient and giving the patient a better sense of self worth.
