Dr Perla did not show up on time for the appointment twice . Her assistant wrote me message I missed the appointment.

Dr. Perla followed up on several different health problems in one visit and made things happen!

My parents had a very good experience with her. Attentive, smart and gave us very useful advice. I liked her business-like style and attention to safety. Doesn't order unnecessary tests if solving the problem is easier than doing the test.

She is an embarrassment for the medical profession. Her arrogance is dangerous to the lives of her patients. Given my genetic rare disorders, I have met many physicians. Still, I have never met a physician like her who was so quick to paint me in a box because of my financial situation and/or race. In our one and only appt, she was completely dismissive and passive-aggressive. Further, the medical record she wrote didn't reflect our conversation. How could she leave out my chief complaints and medical problem? Why put wildly false and prejudicial information in the record of a DV victim? Basically, she's an idiot because of her inflated sense of superiority. I don't fault her for not previously knowing about my rare disorders. I do fault her for causing harm in her inappropriate recommendations and medical notes.

She was assigned to me by my insurance agency. This was my first time speaking with her. It was an over the phone consultation. She came across neither warm nor cold, very matter of fact. Sliightly impatient when listening, but committed to the conversation until issue resolved. Her mannerism comes across rather business like, it feels like it could go either way if I got to know her further. There was no sense of immediate connection, but Reasonable.

We have recently relocated from Sandiego. I was very fortunate to visit Dr Purula as my primary care Physician.Myself hailing from medical field, admired her medical knowledge.She has excellent bedside manners.She does a through clinical examination & makes a very good diagnosis.She orders for apt investigations.She is also prompt in appointment.She gives a careful listening & spends enough time with the patient. The para medical staff under her are all good &caring. On the whole she is a wonderful Primary care Physician.

Dr.Perla was very caring and I felt assured. Her timely referrals helped me get the right diagnosis. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a caring and informed medical treatement.

I'm a registered nurse, and this was the worst doctor's visit I've had in my life. I agree with the other review listed here: she is passive, defensive, and doesn't listen. She is also incompetent and unwilling to make necessary referrals to someone who is competent. I bothered to jump through hoops with my insurance to switch to another primary care provider.

Each time I see her, she is frazzled, in a hurry, doesn't have time to listen, passive, and defensive.
