Horrible person, NO STARS
I was treated with total disrespect. Came in to ER because I vomited blood ( I have stage four cirrhosis and have many other medical issues that cause pain)Within the first three minutes she called me an “drug addict” and was seeking drugs. I told her to get out of my room, and told her I was not going to be treated like this. She was rude, demeaning, and her bedside manner was awful and she made me cry. I am an upstanding citizen and do not drink, smoke, or do any drugs. She needs to lose her license to practice because she is not capable of human emotions

Never want to see this woman again!!
I was having severe high blood pressure when I was at my doctors appointment. They had me taken to ER by ambulance. I was admitted into the hospital that evening. Next morning I saw Dr. Magu she put me on blood pressure medication via Iv, didn’t do anything. She was releasing me anyway.?? The nurses said, “you’re not going anywhere with blood pressure this high and you could have a stroke or a heart attack.” That night they couldn’t keep it down. It was a very long night, I was exhausted and emotional for what I was going through, I was scared. When Dr. Magu came in that next morning she said, “why are you still here I released you yesterday”? I was exhausted, emotional and scared!!! She said, “you’re going home today”!! She was the rudest so called doctor, unprofessional did not have my blood pressure stabilized. If I’d went home I would have ended up in the ER again, she said nothing. She is a horrible doctor to treat someone who feels sick and struggling like that, unbelievable!!!

Er visit
This doctor told my mother she was going to die. How dare somebody that is a so-called doctor tell somebody this so that they lose all possible hope. This doctor did not review any of my mother’s charts or any of her prior history as she has been dealing with cancer. But to have the audacity to tell her patient who is having severe stomach pain that she is needing to start preparing her family for her death is an absolutely despicable thing to do. Thankfully, my mom went to her oncology appointment two days later, and was Given a little bit more hopeful news, but the thought is now in her mind, and she is having a hard time getting past the fact that she could only have days to weeks instead of trying to fight to survive and beat this.

Worse bedside manner ever. Does not listen to your questions and answers her own questions. She informed me that my examation forms mentioned that I said I had two issues which were incorrect, and I tried to inform her that I only had one issue and not the two she claimed that I said, when I tried to explain she cut me short/ignored me completely and went on her way.She told me that I needed a special test and she would process the paper to get that done. Paper work was not submitted until a day, maybe a day-in-a-half later. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE.

Never!
Our daughter was seen in ER this past weekend , this “so called” dr came in and RUDELY told my daughter and her husband that she has Asthma, they told her that she had no history ever of that! She called them out rudely telling them they didn’t know what they were talking about! She was the doctor not them! While sitting in my daughters room waiting to go upstairs a patient with IV’s tried to leave because if this dr. We heard the whole conversation just outside our door. The man was an older gentleman and probably wouldn’t know how to do a rating on her so I’m adding him in! I would call Shasta Regional ER to see who the dr is before going there. I would avoid this “fake” dr with a degree! Bad behavior to Ill people is UNNECESSARY! Clean up your attitude Ms Magu!

Has no business dealing with people
She has the bedside manner of a badger, and totally lacking in interpersonal skills. She doesn’t listen and doesn’t care what you have to say. I can’t specifically address her medical knowledge or scientific skills but it is clear to me she should be working in some lab or research facility AWAY from patient contact. What a compassionate-less cold “physician.” One star only because less than one is not allowed.

Treated my daughter (nurse) like complete garbage when she went with my father to his appointment. My daughter questioned his shortness of breath and Magu was very rude to her. She proceeded to tell my daughter that she sees patients at the hospital and knows if there is a problem. She orders a sleep study. Short story long he goes to the Er as he can’t breath. He has lung cancer. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS WOMAN.

After providing care of my mother for over 2 1/2 years, I have witnessed her have two strokes. We brought her into the ER at Shasta Regional Medical Center for fear she maybe having another stroke. Dr. Magu berated me as to what medical training I had to feel she maybe having another one. As I am not a doctor, I rely on experts to provide care and treatment of my mother. Nevermind the F.A.S.T. signs that are well advertised through Shasta Regional. I will never take my mother or even my dog back for treatment there for any Neurological concerns. Bedside manner is terrible. Apparently human compassion is something that cannot be taught in the Medical School she attended. To berate someone who is concerned for another that maybe having a major medical issue is her preferred method of operation. Would never recommend her care to anyone.

Dr. Magu is one of the most thorough doctors I've had the pleasure of seeing in the Redding Area. She listens and takes careful notes and often gives me written notes so that I won't forget what she has recommended for my care. Her staff is courteous and efficient, too. So far, after about a year of seeing her, I believe she has been of significant help in keeping me healthy and fit in my very senior years. Frank Galusha

She’s terribly rude with horrible bedside manner. I took my 80-year-old grandma in for a routine visit. She was rude and didn’t address anything that my grandma tried to speak with her about . She re- read notes from her hospital visit and it gave us all the information we already had.

I am completely shocked by this woman's complete lack of manners and a horrible bedside manner! My parents long time GP passed away and they had the misfortune of going to see her when they became ill recently. Ms. Magu was hostile and verbally attacked my mother accusing her of just trying to get antibiotics from her. Mom never once asked for medicine, we made her go to the Dr because she has been coughing, running a temp and has felt bad for days now. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! We fired her.

Sadly, from experience & after reading the reviews posted, I agree that Dr. Magu is incompetent ! She insisted that I take a cholesterol drug Pravastatin, even though I had taken it (+2 others) before resulting in blurred vision documented by 2 Ophthalmologists & insisted that there was nothing about adverse reactions on the internet ! My husband was in waiting room & saw 2 angry patients trying to get prescriptions refilled - without making & appointment! NOT competent !

Worst MD I've ever had. Missed a heart rhythm problem in my mom that resulted in a really bad stroke. Never referred her to a Cardiologist even after the stroke. Completely misdiagnosed skin cancer in me. Dermatologist took one look and knew it was cancer. This is just the tip of the iceberg with Magu. I could fill up the page. You've been warned. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS DR!

Doctor Magu does not use modern medicine to her patients benefit. She is rude and aggressive in her manner and speech with her patients. She does not listen to your concerns and she is incompetent in the use of modern medicine. I had a report from a genetic specialist that showed a mutated gene that was in my family. She rebuked this report. I called the gene specialist to verify and asked if the report was correct. It was. She also made a medical diagnosis w/o an exam or testing.

Do not go to this doctor. She is only open 3 days a week. It is almost impossible to get prescription refilled on time. If you run out of medication...too bad you must abide by her strict rules to get simple medications renewed. If you don't then you just get rude messages left on the phone and no medication. No compassion from Dr. Magu or her rude staff.
