Dr. Renu Chawla, MD

My Spouse & I did not have a good experience as first time patients with Dr. Chawla. First of all, we had to wait for 3 + months to get an appointment. And then when we arrived for our appointment (each separately), the doctor was just concerned about her strict time of 20mins than listening to our concerns. She very rudely warned my wife that she will either listen to concern or perform the annual!! Lastly charged me an extra office visit during the annual just because I brough up some health issues for which she did not even addressed them or give any prescription. I would strongly suggest to look elsewhere as this doctor is unruly.

Waited four months for a new patient visit Visit was rushed and short Visit concentrated on medical records and didn't have time for all of new concerns Tests were ordered but results were reported by phone by an assistant with no opportunity to discuss care options. Long wait for a possible follow up appointment.

Dr. Chawla is the best internal medicine physician I have ever seen, and I am 77 years old. She is patient, thorough, knowlegable, and I feel very confident in her care. I highly recommend her to everyone who asks.....they won't go wrong in choosing her as their physician.

I was very ill when I first became Dr. Chawla's patient. What initially impressed me was the fact how carefully listened to me and years later could remember what I had said. She always carefully discussed with me the reasons she proscribed particular medications for me. She double-checked to be certain that I understood what we were attempting to accomplish.
