Insulted me and lied to me twice. I am on medicare but still youngish with a plethora of health issues, she assumed I just was not working and said something along the lines of "Why don't you get a job" and "I am here for people who are going to get better!" with a waiting room full of very elderly people and CHRONIC pain patients like myself!... She recommended injections into my spine, said they would be painless (lie 1), she also said it was an approved procedure, this in fact was off label at the time. All of the academic white papers online and other information state for at LEAST a month to pass before the second injection into the spine, yet she wanted me back in within a week.... More than likely to bleed me and my insurance dry, in my opinion. Also the injections did not help, actually felt like they made things worse that she denied saying it was "impossible", yet her peers within academic papers disagree.

Was seeing her for three years and she was wonderful. Last couple months something is off. One day she's leaving her practice, next day she's back again. A few patients I've spoken to say there was a week she didn't show up at all, leaving them without their medication. I've noticed my past two visits a big difference in her attitude and quite frankly she made me uncomfortable. I'm searching for a new doctor, as she has become very unreliable. I will miss her staff-they were excellent

Listens to the patient, but still makes her own assessment. Very friendly and caring.

She saw me for initial consultation which took 1.5 hrs. before I got in. Her office was like an assembly line. But I figured you have to wait to see a good Dr.? Set up appt. for steroid injection in my back. She cancelled appt. 15 minutes before appt. time for cortisone shot! They told me to call office to reschedule, but no one answers phones? Now I hear she's retiring? What kind of Dr. takes your money for a consultation when they had no intention of following through? Something not right here

Overprescribes medication. If you don't have an opiate addiction you will after visiting this doctor. If you have an addiction problem please seek treatment, don't lose everything.

Dr. V. is highly trained, extremely knowledgeable, has years of experience and is very empathetic. Helped me tremendously with my carpal tunnel syndrome, which was keeping me up at night. Her credentials and training in pain management are extensive. I wouldn't let a little longer wait time scare you away--great doctors have many patients that want to see them and they do their best to squeeze everyone in.

I had a painful muscle spasm in my mid back. I thought it would work it's way out and unsuccessfully tried aspirin and Tylenol to take care of the pain. Weeks went by and it seemed to get worse. I went to Dr. V on a recommendation and am glad I did. She quickly located the source and gave me a cortisone shot. Almost instant relief! And the pain never came back. Dr V. is great! I highly recommend her

On my first visit I arrived at 9:20 for a 930 appointment. It is now 11:05 and I have yet to be seen by Dr. V.. 11:10 and still waiting =\ 11:15 she came in asked a few question, touched my spine and said how about a brace? Which she didn't have in office !! I was told it needed to be ordered and my portion would be $250!

Dr Variakojis is a highly trained physician that knows how to treat and manage pain. Pain is an ugly disease that can put one in a dark place when not treated properly. She has worked diligently and has gifted hands and eyes to figure out most root causes. I've had two prior to her, and have been seeing her since Dec 2008, and will look no further. Diligent and timely liver checks, and she follows the law but most interested in patient care. Be sad for me when she retires. Incredibly talented.
