Dr. Renanit Barron, MD

This review is solely for the office manager and staff, as I never got to see the doctor. I had researched Dr. Renanit Barron and was excited to see her, even rearranging my schedule and delaying a trip. The office repeatedly confirmed my appointment with her, yet upon arrival, I was told I’d be seeing a different doctor, Dr. Cindy. When I questioned this, the front desk staff admitted all new patients see a different doctor first but failed to notify me in advance. The office manager then spoke to me over the phone and was shockingly rude, stating they don’t guarantee patients will see their scheduled doctor and dismissing my concerns with condescending remarks. She ultimately told me this office wasn’t for me, refunded my money, and offered no apology. I am beyond frustrated—this is my health, and to be treated this way is unacceptable.

Dr. Barron has definitely saved my life and has continued to do everything she can possibly do and has definitely helped me for many years! Dr. Barron truly CARES about her patients and whenever possible she allows me to use more natural products, which I strongly prefer! Dr. Barron has spent a lot of time researching and explaining what's going on with my health issues. I highly recommend her to everyone who needs a truly good doctor!!!!

Dr Barron is caring and considerate and keenly listens to her patients. She believes in having her patients use state of the art technology…. an approach with which I concur. I feel that I’m in excellent hands under her care.

Best staff in America

I had an appointment with Dr. Renanit Barron, (which I made several weeks earlier), to look at nodules on my Thyroid. However, the weekend before my Monday appointment, I received a text that my appointment was switched to someone else in the office. I called the office Monday morning and the male receptionist confirmed that Dr. Barron switched me to her NP. I asked if I would see the doctor too? He said only if she has time. I then spoke to the office manager who confirmed the switch and yelled at me that there is NEVER A GUARANTEE THAT I WILL EVER SEE THE DOCTOR. THIS IS HOW WE RUN OUR OFFICE! I could not believe her rudeness and I immediately canceled the appointment. The billing dept called me to tell me that they won't charge me for the cancelation and they apologized for the office manager's unprofessional attitude. However, considering Dr. Barron had no interest in meeting with me, especially my being a new patient, I am going elsewhere.

I am very pleased with the staff. Dr. Barron is very thorough And knowledgeable. My thyroid numbers are finally becoming normal thanks to her.

Listens to and discusses my issues. Continues to follow up on possible problems.

She’s a lovely doctor and person. Very thorough.

I saw Dr. Barron for thyroid issues on 2 visits, a year apart. First, her office is so poorly run that even for an early AM appointment, you end up waiting over an hour, maybe 2. Same for a virtual visit. They also take payment before the visit so you are stuck if the wait conflicts with your other obligations. Second, the procedures she uses are so convoluted and involve so many layers of communication that it is near impossible to get a prescription filled. When I saw her, she said she would fill a Rx for my thyroid medication for a year. She called it in wrong and it expired after 6 months. Getting her error corrected required 3 phone calls and over an hour on the phone. Finally, I saw Dr. Barron because my thyroid numbers were out of whack due to starting menopause hormones. The first test she ordered was a test of my estrogen and progesterone. Doctors who pay attention to the current research know that you can't test for these, they fluctuate too much to be useful.

I have been seeing Dr Barron for 18 years. I have moved three hours away and my insurance hasn’t been accepted for the last ten years. I still choose to see Dr Barron because she is that good. Her knowledge, professionalism and patience is so valuable and appreciated.

Great diagnostic skills Very personable

I waited almost two hours on 2 different appointments with this Dr. Barron. On one of my visits, she had a very unprofessional male assistant who asked me questions and told me in depth about his home improvement, handyman business and he was only there to help out the Dr. because she was a friend of his and he knew how badly she needed some office help and assistance. After the ridiculous wait time, she spent most of my appointment time on her cell phone talking and texting with her kids who kept calling about their snacks and other after school issues. I finally decided to leave as I found this Dr. to be very unprofessional and not interested in my health issues or doing her job. I will never go back to this office! I have no idea how she has any patients who are willing to put up with her terrible time management habits and lack of concern for doing her job or caring about the patients concerns.
