Dr. Reinaldo Gutierrez, MD

I have been going to Dr Gutierrez for many years. He is very caring, and takes the time to explain everything regarding my healthcare to me. His staff has always been accommodating and helpful. I can not say enough about him, he really is excellent.

Between being unable to get life-maintaining timed prescriptions filled, paying for useless visits, and being ignored when bringing up new issues, it's clear this doctor has too much going on. Nonetheless that doesn't stop him from taking a weeks vacation every 2-4 weeks. Even more specifically, he doesn't read any of your tests appropriately before seeing you, and even when he is with you, his doesn't read them properly which can lead to misdiagnoses, or god forbid, something worse. Those are all the red flags we got to experience. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He's a nice guy, but he's got way too much going on and he clearly does not invest enough time into properly taking care of his patients. This is based on visits within the last 2 years (Early 2020 thru March 2022). Look for better, because there are better.

The office is the worst, attempting to get refills is impossible, and every visit requires actually two visits one to see doc one to get results, they will not give over phone or send to you, office staff is terrible they do not care about patients and takes weeks to get a call back, disgraceful.

They have NO understanding of the needs of their patients. All I needed was a refill on my inhalers [a baseline medication] and Tina gave me such an awfully hard time and required that I have to be placed on a schedule to have a phone appointment with the doctor. They also robbed me of $80 back in January and I've been called numerous times to get my money back that I was wrongfully charged. Its April and STILL have not received my refund! Dr. Gutierrez was nice but not very devoted to his role as a doctor. I told him about my chronic pain and a whole history that runs in my family and he told me it'll go away with time!? What kind of dr says that?! I asked him about the safety of some medications during pregnancy and he said I'd have to ask a gynecologist cause he doesn't know anything about it! If you're a dr and prescribing meds, you should know the side effects on what you're prescribing. My husband and I have left this office and HIGHLY DO NOTTTT recommend to anyone!

Dr. Guitierrez is not only an excellent physician but possesses a wonderful bedside manner as well. His office staff at his new location in Plainview is welcoming and courteous. I highly recommend this doctor!

I am very happy with the service at Dr. Gutierrez office. He really cares for the well being of his patients.. and the staff is great... very friendly and always a smile when they attend to you.

At first when just went to him June 2015 I was impressed with office. Less people to deal with. I think he is test crazy. One year later July 2016 He moved to a new office. I do not like the office too many chiefs and they complain that you go to early. It was hot as hell, sweating like a pig. The girls are snippy. Tech was a half hour late going to office. I told one girl that I did not like the office. She kept insisting to make a appt for a follow up and I said I did not do before
